... out on the original evil dead figures so its nice to finally have one in my neca toys collection ...
at last I have a evil dead ash figure ive been waiting for this for a long time as I missed out on the original evil dead figures so its nice to finally have one in my neca toys collection this version of ash comes with another head shotgun axe infected arm and hand aswell tape recorder the book of spells and a female head cut off so I would recommend that you pick this guy up if you like evil dead franchise

Groovy. This figure itself is mostly just a retool of the Evil Dead 2 figures NECA made a few years ago with the only new part being the updated hip section. With the new articulation the figure matches the standards of other figures the company has been releasing lately and it is still a great looking piece. It is based on Ash as he appeared throughout the majority of the film and so it does not include his iconic chainsaw hand which wasn't made until towards the end. The sculpting is strong and they've done a great job of capturing actor Bruce Campbell's face with a frightened expression. The paint is also impressive with washes applied and nice blood spots, the desired effect even allows for some minor mishaps to blend in with the general dirty look of the character. The accessories included are terrific as each is also well sculpted and painted, although I will point out it's the wrong version of the necronomicon. Getting him to hold the shotgun can be a pain as his hand is sculpted in a fairly tight grip so I would recommend caution and patience in getting it in there but it is a very solid hold once he has it. Finally the packaging is also terrific for display with the movie poster being the front flap of the box, you could leave the figure in box and still have it displayed if you chose to do so. Overall as an Evil Dead fan I love this figure and would recommend it to anyone who's interested.
