Bosch Professional 18V System Cordless Orbital Sander GSS 18V-10 (orbit diameter: 1.6 mm, three base plates of different sizes, excluding rechargable batteries and charger, L-BOXX)

Really good sander, needed to sand a celling after removing loads of wallpaper from it, so wanted a cordless one not to be getting stuck with a cord all the time, as has happened in the past, found this on amazon for a great price as I already had two of the batteries for this from my drill so decided on this model, absolutely brilliant, really good dust collection from its small filter, also it light, another great thing about it is you can use Velcro sand paper or orandry paper as it has clips to hold it in place so best of both worlds, you can also change the base size to cove different sanding jobs, really good wood recommend it.

I am already invested in the Bosch Pro system so have numerous batteries. The sander is easy and comfortable to use, and by registering it with Bosch you extend the warranty to 3 years. There is a little "Punch" plate included which means you can clamp on any old piece of sandpaper cut from a sheet (therefore without holes) then punch the dust extraction holes in it once its installed. Simple but good.I think this is a little overpriced for what it is, but then the L Boxx on its own probably adds a good bit to the cost of the set. Overall I am happy with this little sander. Much cheaper on Amazon than I could find it elsewhere.

The sander works very well but the filter bag system is non effective so it creates more dust than is ideal.

I would recommend this for small jobs around a home. Very compact. Good for walls, trims, and small wood working projects. Can be hooked up to an extractor/vacuum cleaner for reduced dust output. Replacement sanding pads from Bosch are a little expensive, averaging £9 for a box of 10 sheets, but other non name brand pads are available. Plus you can always make your own.If you're taking on bigger jobs, I'd recommend a bigger orbital sander.

Surprisingly powerful sander. Great for everyday use. Lightweight to hold over long periods making it easy to use in tight spaces or up ladders. Ability to change ends make it very versatile.

Great quality and light weight. Ideal for smaller jobs or working at height. I would recommend using the smaller 2Ah batteries, as anything larger makes it feel a little heavy and unbalanced.
