White stylish, record player, radio, cd,usb recording
Brought as a birthday gift to step daughter, who was over the moon with it, got all you need, record player, radio, cd and recording to usb , all in a lovely white design, only let down is the quality of sound, no real bass at all, think if connected to external speakers this would be much better, but for the price, with the features it's got, it's worth buying, also would recommend the extra warranty that's not too much to add on to it.

Looks cool, plays records on 45 , 33 & 78
Looks cool, plays records on 45, 33 & 78, has a CD player and lots of other stuff I haven't worked out how to do and probably won't ever use. I bought to play records and it does the job without looking ugly and big. Love the sound of the needle hiss on vinyl. The sound is poor as I expected. The inbuilt speakers are tinny so I rigged external speakers to it and whack the speakers up and jump around dancing like a demented teenager again! Great fun.

Sleek and functional for small rooms
I bought this item based purely on looks, size and multifunctional properties. I have a tiny living room and any tech needs to be compact. It looks great and is very sleek. Whilst the sound quality was ok for vinyl (most of mine are 1970s to 1980 vinyl and sounded better on my Marantz deck with Celestion Speakers) the sound of CDs and USB was good for my small room. It was easy to work, very intuitive. I'm really pleased with this product - perfect for the smaller abode.

Awful. Avoid. Minus stars
Rubbish. Steer clear. First one I got from a shop direct. Speakers did not work on Phono. Second I got from Amazon as local shop had none left. This one skipped records so badly it was unusable. Amazon replaced but this skipped tracks and then refused to even turn on. Got an Audio Technically now and records play perfectly. Do not waste your time or energy on the GPO Jive. BTW Amazon customer service was great.

Style over substance
The player looks great. Unfortunately there are a lot of 'niggly' issues with it so for avid record fans I would recommend steering clear no matter how smart the record unit looks. The main issues for me are;- intermittent record skipping (solved by adding weight to the arm of the stylus - poor when paying c. £90 for the unit - I mean really? I shouldn't have to do this!)- sound quality from the built in stereo isn't great but bearable (EQ settings are limited - no treble)All in all a smart looking unit with annoying drawbacks, I'll be keeping mine as I'm a sucker for good looks!
