No real shock protection
This case is fine for protecting your tablet from surface scratches and minor bumps. It has zero ability to protect your tablet from anything actually significant, like any sort of drop greater than several inches.I dropped my tablet in this case from a height of ~4 ft. on to a carpeted surface. I thought this would be no big deal, as I've dropped other tablets protected by other cases in similar ways. I was wrong. My tablet no longer turns on, so the drop clearly broke something significant. When I took the case off, I realized why: there is no real padding built into the case to absorb shock. The frame is all hard plastic with no cushioning in the corners or in the back. The only real padding is on the front flip cover, but even that isn't very flexible. This means that any shock from a drop simply gets transmitted directly into your tablet. If you really need to protect your Lenovo tablet, look elsewhere.

Seems durable enough and fits well
The case fits pretty well and seems like it should do a good job with protecting the tablet. It does just about double the thickness and weight of the tablet, so I will use it just for when I am taking the tablet places. It should be fine in a backpack or bag that gets knocked around a bit.Definitely more rugged than the cases that just stick magnetically.

Nice design but wearing out in a year
Good fit, nice design, only conplaint is that it's wearing out in only a years light use.

If you use a stylus, this is almost the perfect case
The good: Excelent little fold case. I don't use a screen protector since I primarily draw on this device, so having a case that lets me cover the screen when not in use was priority #1 and this does that perfectly. The okay: It has the spots for the stylus (back and side) magnets accessible at all times which is nice but does cause the only real downsides of this case. First, it can't be laid flat on both sides unless the pen is on the side magnet, which is understandable since the back magnet is primarily intended for charging/pairing. However, more importantly, the side magnet doesn't feel secure enough to say, put your tablet in a backpack/bag and feel confident that the stylus won't get detatched. So I wish the case extended out on the side a bit to allow for a more secure compartment for the stylus and/or had some locking mechanism for the stylus.Rant from an MBA student: Even better if the case's cover folded over the storage area as that would give me a great peace of mind about not losing a $70 pen. I know it would make the case an inch or so wider but it would be an excelent feature to have. Could even use the extra inch that extends above the stylus storage to have spots for replacement stylus tips storage of some kind. Even if it was a separate more expensive model of this case.Very minor complaint: the divits for the stand function could be a little deeper/more secure. If you sit it on your lap and a cat bumps or if you shuffle just a little it will fall. I ended up buying a tablet pillow stand for when I am in bed and watching/reading something on it. On a flat surface (which I am sure is the intended use) it works perfectly but just something to be aware of.
