Easy to set up, feels sturdy, works well with my Bluetooth deck (The sound is clear with no static or interference) and is small enough to sit next to my amp fairly inconspicuously. Everything is in the same room so I cannot comment on how far the range is, or connectivity through walls, but it does the job I bought it for.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Setup is a breeze and the quality of the sound is excellent (I was only using poor bitrate sound from YouTube - I'd imagine fully FLAC input would be outstanding). Anyway, if you're looking for a way to open up your amp to the world of bluetooth you won't go wrong with this.

This is one of the best designed and engineered audio units purchased in recent years. Compact and neat, the build quality is very high and the audio performance is exceptional form power on. Pairing with another Bluetooth device is a breeze and takes less than 60 seconds. Once paired, the Bluetooth signal is locked in and doesn't drop out. Once hooked up to the HiFi kit the sound quality is simply stunning. Great clarity, depth of sound across the stereo soundstage with no noise over Bluetooth. The 24-bit DAC means that the digital sound is transformed into very high quality analog signals. Think CD quality. The short manual is both clear and informative. A section suggests that the audio will continue to improve until the unit has been operation for between 40-50 hours. Not reached that point yet but are delighted with the current sound quality so will be interested in how much better it gets. You don't get high quality without paying extra. The unit price will only increase further with UK inflation and currency fluctuations. If you are looking for a Bluetooth receiver to link your digital devices to your analog HiFi then you'll be delighted too.

Excellent sound and locks on rigidly to the AptX HD output from my LG TV. very reliable connection. I am using the optical out as I have a very good DAC and the sound is light years better than my previous device which was limited to Bluetooth 4.0 only. Very easy to set up and paired right away.

I replaced a Neet BT receiver with a Audioengine B1 and the resultant enhanced overall musicality of the B1 is substantial. Pairing and connecting my iPhone was trouble-free and accomplished in seconds. I am taking a feed from the toslink optical output of the B1 into a Chord DAC and amplifier. In my view any upgrade to a hifi-kit is to be judged from two aspects; (a) the additional previously unheard detail and clarity of music and (b) the more difficult to define aesthetic pleasurable "musicality" of tonal balance and ambiance . The B1 ticks both boxes, very impressively indeed. In fact, beautifully. At c. £130 the B1 isn't cheap, on the other hand it is beautifully engineered and permits a significant upgrade to be performed to your hi-kit easily in a few minutes. Can music BT'ed from an iPhone ever achieve the same sudiophile levels of fideility as from the original CD ? Probably not, but for those of us too idle to stir ourselves from our armchair to retrieve CD's from our library, it comes bloody close. A highly recommended piece of kit for those in pursuit of superb hi-fi musical quality combined with the convenience of BT sourcing.

Good sound quality, easy and stable pairing, well built. I thought the output level would be higher but it seemed to be at the same level as the Bayan Audio unit that I have so you have to adjust your amp volume setting accordingly. However, worth the extra expense for the look, feel and better, more defined and transparent sound quality.

Good points: Fantastic sound quality for what it is. I tried several of the cheaper Bluetooth adapters and was really disappointed with the quality - this knocks them out of the water. This for me is the main selling point and the reason I purchased the item. I struggle to hear any difference between the files played through my PC speakers and the output on my stereo via this device Easy to set up - I stream music from my computer to the stereo via a small USB bluetooth adapter plugged in to my PC. Does drop out occasionally but only for a split second and it this is few and far between I can now access all of my digitally stored music on my stereo Good reception - it's about 5 metres from the device to my bluetooth adapter and this works very well Bad points: It is quite a lot of money. Tip: search on Amazon Warehouse to see if they have one with an opened box for slightly cheaper. This is what I did and saved about £25 Very minor, but does need a power socket. I have my stereo, a turntable and this all plugged in which means a trail of power wires Very occasionally has issues with Windows 10, my music starts to stutter. I then disconnect bluetooth via my settings, reconnect and everything work perfectly Overall if you're looking for a way of streaming your digital files in as good a quality as possible then this is perfect for you. As I said I tried other cheaper devices but they were in no way comparable, this is in a different league. If you are not bothered about audio quality go for a cheaper one!

Bought this receiver to add to my bedroom Hi Fi. (Floor standing steakers and Pioneer Amp A400). Sound quality is much better than you would expect from a compressed audio format through Bluetooth. In a word Great. The range is also stretches into other rooms and downstairs. Further than my other BT devices. Easy to set up, does not drop connection and remembers previous devices. It is small so easy to place. The cables supplied are ok and do the job. Worth spending the extra money over cheaper options is you value sound quality. Would buy again.

I have just received my Audio Engine B1. Excellent Bluetooth receiver, and well made. Great sound through my Hifi playing iTunes songs. I did not expect that! Very happy as my amplifier does not have tone controls to adjust a poor sound. Only problem: Could not turn the light off unless B1 was disconnected from electrical mains. However, I found that disconnecting Bi from my Iphone 6 resulted in : (a) The blinking light coming on for a short period awaiting pairing (b) The light automatically turning off after approximately three minutes (c) BI going on standby awaiting reconnection with my phone .....no light on until reconnected Patrick 1 Dec 2023

Dentro una bella scatola, il prodotto protetto da spugna, si trovano l'alimentatore due cavi RCA e un sacchettino. Installazione..un minuto e mezzo. Oggetto piccolissimo, ma con una grinta paurosa, vale tutti i soldi pagati, forse un qualcosa in più. Per chi non vuole buttare soldi in apparecchi troppo impegnativi, e non vuole perdere tempo a smanettare per installare il servizio di streaming che usa, questo è l'uovo di Colombo. Il suono, diciamo bello, con bassi secchi privi di coda, le voci presenti, e gli alti mai sgarbati. Non perdona, le registrazioni di qualità vengono rese con precisione e qualità, ma quelle scarse, tali restano, rivela la qualità senza compromessi. Buon acquisto, di un oggetto che fa capire che dietro c'è uno studio di ricerca del suono. P. S. Ero alla ricerca di un apparecchio per l'ascolto di musica in streaming, non potendo spendere e spandere, ero da piu di un anno alla ricerca, ho anche ascoltato altri prodotti prodotti dal costo oltre il doppio di questo, collegati ad una catena simile alla mia, con l'unica differenza dell'ampli, che in negozio era di qualità superiore, un vecchiettodi di oltre 15 anni, un Marantz, la qualità era inferiore, sembrava che le voci fossero trattenute, quasi timide, e piatti e Charleston della batteria confusi e lontani. Ottima intuizione l'acquisto di questo piccolino.

Buena calidad de sonido incluso directamente desde la salida RCA del propio aparato, pero si además lo correctas a un DAC externo de calidad puedes mejorar el sonido notablemente. Yo lo tengo conectado a un Musical Fidelity Trivista 21 y suena excelente. A destacar la facilidad de uso, no hay que estar encenciendo y apagando el aparato, una vez lo conectas te despreocupas, solo tienes que conectarte y funciona directamente. Una vez te desconectas el aparato queda en standby y listo para volver a usarse. Hacia tiempo que no compraba un aparato tan bien construido y pensado. Lo recomiendo sin fisuras.
