Really nice beginners'/entry level cocktail kit. Probably even good enough for a more advanced cocktail maker looking to stock up a home bar. The quality is pretty high and this kit includes everything you need to get started. The addition of a couple of speed pourers and the storage tub just take this set the extra mile over the alternatives for me. I bought this for myself but it would also make an excellent gift. The best point for me was without a doubt the completeness of this kit for the money. You just get a few extra things compared to most other kits, including the choice of both strainers which, whilst it doesn't seem like much, genuinely makes a big difference for the budding bartender. My only gripe, which was nothing to do with the kit itself, was that my set arrived with the storage/presentation tub dented.

Bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas who loves making cocktails. This kit has everything you need to make perfect cocktails for any occasion. It is amazing value for money and looks classy too - he used it for at our New Year's Eve cocktail party and it went down an absolute storm! There was a bit of confusion at first with how to use the shaker and we were worried it would leak, but the glass fits into the metal cup perfectly- you just have to slot it in with one side flat and the other at an angle. I would definitely recommend this brilliant set for anyone as it is great fun learning all the different recipes!

This set was fantastic for me in helping set up a home bar and for learning how to make cocktails. There is so much equipment included at such a fantastic price. The only issue I’ve had is with one of the pourers. The metal insert has become detached from the rubber outer part when I attempted to remove it from a bottle of cream liqueur. It was quite stuck in the bottle. I did leave it in the bottle for over a day so it is perhaps my fault and not the products that this occurred but I’m not sure. Even this aside, this is the best thing I’ve bought in a long time. Great value. 100% recommend

A great set for home bar work, everything is as you’d expect from a home bar set. The only thing missing is a mixing glass but they’re not essential. The actual set itself is of good quality for the price you pay. My only complaint is the quality of the Hawthorne Strainer alone, whilst perfectly functional it is ever so slightly too small for the Boston tin, it can sometimes get caught. However this is quite minor.

I thought I really wanted to start mixing my own cocktails. I don't believe in doing jobs without the proper tools, so I looked around for a good set of bar tools, and this one has just everything you need. I use a different type of shaker now, as I find the tin and glass kind of shaker too precarious for my wonky arthritic hands, but every other tool in this set has been regularly used, and even the big mixing glass still gets used for stirring up martini and so on. A really great investment at a snip of a price.

I spent a while browsing cocktail makers as family have always wanted one, so you want to know you're getting your money's worth. I decided to go with this in the end and it's perfect, it has everything you need and the pieces are good quality and dishwasher safe. We've made countless cocktails ever since!! And it's a hit when people are over because it looks professional. One of the best gifts ever. Definitely worth every penny, really pleased.

Bought as a gift, this kit has seen plenty of use thanks to the variety of accessories and overall quality of the product. It looks stylish, takes up relatively little space and offers a great selection of implements for all cocktail-makers, from novices to practised mixologists. I cannot find a single fault for the price.

Pros: The Boston shaker is very nice and is unbranded The sieve is very nice compared to others that I have used Cons: DOES NOT come with Julep strainer as advertised The bar spoon is very large which is unnecessary making stirring cocktails a little awkward The pourers are too large for some of my bottles (such as Disaronno) making them unusable) and do not come with any lids for them
