HDreceiver Mini HD to Air Satellite Decoder for Foreign Channels (German, Turkish, Arabic, Etc.)

Maybe not extremely user friendly in its user interface, but it works wonderfully, it's super small, and its power consumption in Idle is less than 1W, so it's extremely valuable

My older flat screen televisions in my B&B didn't have Saorview already installed here in Ireland. This worked perfectly and guests don't even know it's there because it plugs into the back of the TV.

Amazingly capable little device and a huge improvement (picture wise) to my old SCART out receiver. The only point to be aware of in the UK market is that the instruction manual is written in German and French. There is a simple "quick start" brochure in English which is fine forusing it as a satellite receiver but to set it up as a PVR or music/photo media centre (which it does quite well!) then you need to be able to translate the instructions. This is because some of the actions required (such as press the green button now) are not menu led or that intuitive. All in all though great value for money

Bought several of these and one stopped working after a year

Needed a plug for existing mini receiver but saw this so bought it instead of trying to find and order the right plug which would cost about £12 or so. For £20 it’s very good value and is easy to work. Some reviews say the settings etc are in German. You can set it to English also. It had turksat, Astra and another satellite I can’t remember the name. We just needed Turksat; receives all the channels like Atv, Eurostar etc etc. You must have a satellite dish for this to work of course.

Not comple product no remote no cables

Very compact little unit that allows you to tuck it behind the TV out of sight with just the remote control eye visible. As far as these things go, programming the unit is relatively easy. The only down side is that it comes with a quite short lead from the power supply plug so a mains supply just behind the TV would seem to be the best option.

Ottimo ricevitore satellitare, molto contenute le dimensioni, di utilizzo semplice e intuitivo, manca della lingua italiana ma è disponibile quella inglese, quanto basta per utilizzarlo nella fase iniziale di ricerca dei canali. E' dotato di un buon ricevitore IR per il telecomando che funziona bene anche se posto dietro il TV. Eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo, consigliato. Aggiorno la recensione portandola a 4 stelle per aggiungere che il dispositivo durante il funzionamento si scalda molto, se installato in uno spazio sacrificato si guasta facilmente, mi è stato sostituito gratuitamente, questo è l'unico difetto che ho riscontrato.
