Pennine Caravan 85amp Leisure Battery Holding Box Red

My battery fits perfectly, the securing strap looks good.

The battery box received is ok and as expected quality wise it’s just all black not White and Red as per the picture and the outlets appear to be on the long side not the short although that is not an issue.

Bought to house my battery on my boat, it fits in my V berth locker where I have my battery and will be able to strap it down as well!! I think the colour in the picture is just the " serving suggestion " as they are black which is ok for me as it is hidden away. May well be buying another for my other battery in the near future !

Had this box for 12 months now to hold a car battery for an electric fence unit. It's been outside for a full 12 months and no signs of effect from sunlight or winter frosts. would prichase again.

The box is well made and does the job. The weight of the battery holds the box in place so the strap isn't that important. It just holds it in position. I use mine as a secondary battery on a boat kept charged by a solar panel

Selected this box on price as it seemed reasonable. It was to contain and support the repositioned leisure battery in my motor home.My 85amp needed a little packing to ensure it did not move within the box.The strap and buckle was adequate to restrain the box complete with battery and there was sufficient space between the lid and the box for the cabling and vent tubing.Nice looking box pity it is hidden away in the motor home

I expected this to be a bit more rigid, it does the job but I wouldn't feel confident in transporting it with the battery inside using the strap provided.Great for my purpose though and it keeps the rain out! Would buy again.
