These shoes are perfect for the crazy, fun loving toddler. They fit well and are easy to get on and off thanks to a single velcro strap at the top. The rest of the shoe's fit is done via a durable cord with cord lock. The fit is excellent.The functional design of the shoes is fantastic. If you know about the adult Keen, then you are aware of the great design. The shoes have protected toe boxes and are equally effective in and out of water. The shoe transitions from trail to water and back to trail without issue. The shoes have good support while also having good cushioning. They dry quickly and are always comfortable, evan after getting wet. I've worn mine all day at water parks, in and out of the water and my feet were comfortable all day.The kids shoes have some small adjustments to make them even better and safer for kids, one is the velcro strap I mentioned earlier. The other is that the heel is enclosed and protected, where the adult shoe has an open heel. This keeps sticks and rocks from fining your toddler's soft heels while they play. My toddler also wears his all day at the water park, and is running around the yard at full speed that afternoon. He has worn them at the park and the closed heel design keeps the multch shards from getting into the shoes.The box toe design has plenty of space for my toddler's feet to flex and work without being squeezed or pinched.As a parent, I've had my toddler get shoes soaking wet by jumping in puddles, then we have wet shoes and socks the rest of the day until we get home, but these Keen are perfect all day shoes, no matter how many puddles he jumps in, or whatever he climbs or experiences at the playground or out shopping with us. I cannot recommend these shoes highly enough, especially if you find them on sale.

My 4 year old son has not had the best luck with shoes--especially water shoes! We have gone through so many target/wal-mart shoes that he said fit well, but he would end up with a blister somewhere or they'd end up falling off etc. I hate spending this much on a child's shoes when they outgrow them so fast. However, I would purchase these again in a heartbeat at new price! These fit him so well, with or without socks, they leave no blisters or marks and he loves them! We went hiking in Yosemite with them and he can run around in them on rainy muddy park days. He can wear them with socks for a little added warmth on cooler days. They look cute on him too! We also ordered Merrell brand but they dug into the top of his foot so we had to return. They are true to size and there is no digging into my sons feet anywhere! For reference, my son has pretty average feet...not particularly chubby or wide. Hope this helps!

Overall I’m happy with my Keen shoes. It’s one of my favorite brands. I was a bit surprised on opening the box and seeing a brighter orange than the one in the photo. I do wish the shoes matched the photo.

I love Keen sandals. Your child will definitely outgrow these before they are ever worn out.I buy them for all my kids. (From preschool age to teens!) I have handed them down to neighbor kids after my kids outgrow them, and they last the life of that kid wearing them too. They are certainly made to last.I have never had a kid get a blister in these.Don't hesitate on this one.

I have never bought keens for my son until now (he's 3 and I usual thrift for his shoes). Now that he's staying in a shoe size longer these were the perfect fit for a summer shoe.He hikes in them, wears them to school and plays in the creek. It's really important to me that his toes are protected.We've washed these shoes now after he had an accident and they cleaned right up. They do breathe but with any shoe that you wear all day, they can get an odor. Every now and then I'll spray with Lysol at the end of the day and they're good to go in the morning. He is able to take them off by himself. These are pretty adjustable.

This shoe design works great for the shoreline because I can keep my feet dry if even when in wet sand or can get them wet if I want. I ordered these for myself, I'm a 6.5 to 7 size in womens, these fit perfect. Didn't want to spend a ton for shoes I won't wear a ton. Was replacing a great pair of tevas that were similar to these that finally blew out. I have reg to wide feet (bunion) and these work, kids shoes tend to be more boxy, but if you are real wide these might be too tight.

We bought these for my little one (18mo)to take on holiday. They were perfect, comfortable, didn’t rub, easily adjustable. He did a lot of walking over uneven terrain with no issues. The shoes are wide meaning his feet weren’t at all cramped and the footbed has arch support. We will be building a pair each summer for the foreseeable.

Die Schuhe kamen pünktlich. Wir haben die bunte Regenbogenversion und mein Sohn (5) liebt sie. Er hat sie den ganzen Sommer über im Waldkindergarten getragen und sie sind immer noch ganz. Jetzt ist Herbst, aber sie würden sicher noch eine Weile halten. Ab und an trägt er sie auch mit Socken. Die Sohle ist relativ steif, das hat mir anfangs nicht so zugesagt, da er ansonsten Barfußschuhe trägt. Aber ich hatte mit weicheren Sohlen im Wald keine so gute Erfahrungen, da diese nie so lange gehalten hatten. Sehr teure barfuß Schuhe konnten bei uns dem Waldboden nicht lange stand halten und es ist sehr ärgerlich, wenn diese nach 2 Wochen kaputt gehen, weil die Sohle reißt, oder der Kleber abgeht.Die Schuhe fallen normal aus. Er kann sie gut selbst an und aus ziehen. Dafür muss er nur den Klettverschluss etwas durch die Lasche zurückziehen, da die Schuhe sehr eng sitzen, was sie ja im Wald auch müssen. Für uns sind es die perfekten Trekkingschuhe und nächsten Sommer kaufen wir sie sicher nochmal.

Das ist schon die dritte Keensandale für meinen Sohn. Ich finde die Qualität gut, sie können auch mal nass und dreckig werden. Sie ist nur nicht sehr luftig. Oft sind die Füße warm darin. Aber für Kleinkinder super weil man sich die Zehen nichz weh tun kann.
