Itch Free Thermal Loft Construction Camper Van Insulation Roll (8m x 370mm x 50mm) 2.96 m²

Used this in my camper van and it does the job perfectly. Easy to work with, no irritation when handling, and provides good thermal insulation. Quality is exactly as expected and it performs just as described.

Purchased to insulate walls & floor of shed from winter cold and summer heat. I can't offer a review on the materials effectiveness as I'm only just installing it. What I can say is, is that it is easy to handle & cut to required size with decent scissors, rather than having to resort to a Stanley knife, and no gloves required. Not sure how flame retardant it is, but given the shed is corrugated plastic and the framing & boarding are wood, the shed will go up like a bunsen burner if a fire breaks out anyway! The insulation is 50mm thick, my framing is 37mm, so I'm aware it will be loosing some of its effectiveness by condensing it behind the boarding. Would have been better if alternative thicknesses were available but hay-hoo. As the shed is modern, thin corrugated plastic I needed to frame and board it out so that I've got something to screw shelving to so installing insulation between the two isn't much extra work. I don't think I would have gone to the trouble of insulation with a traditional timber shed, but plastic sheds have a single piece apex roof so the pay off is no leaking roof period. I wouldn't use this stuff in my loft TBH, I'd go the extra mile and use sheep's wool. Thicker, more effective and 100% eco friendly. Expensive mind but worth it. J D Dewsnap.

I used this to replace manky old fibreglass insulation in a home made water pipe cover. It was really easy to cut to size with a good pair of scissors and so much nicer to work with than the old stuff. Hopefully it will keep the pipe running over winter and keep the frost out!

This is a much better product but you will need a face mask and goggles as its constantly shedding fibres!!! Best used on the roof (rather than the floor) for best effect on a budget,or both the roof and floor of your loft if money no problem. Also recommend superfoil to keep both cold and heat out and also stops the fibres from this product escaping once fitted

VAT was not included or mentioned in the advertised price, and it was only when I checked the total I paid that I discovered 20% had been added. This should have been more apparent in the price listed.
