Goodmans 30 W 2.0 Bluetooth Compact Soundbar

Wanted a compact sounder at a reasonable price with decent quality sound output and easy setup. Probably too much to ask but this item nails it. Set up in minutes; fits the limited space I have perfectly; straightforward and robust connections with all necessary cables supplied; bluetooth works really well and sound quality is decent, not top range or near it but considering my parameters, for £32 I'm happy and the sound is so much better than the built in tv speakers. Recommended though not if you want really powerful sound and great bass response but it really performs very, very well for it's dimensions and price point. If you need what I needed, buy it!

I bought this product for one reason only, to improve the horrendous sound quality on our Blaupunkt TV. I wasn't expecting sonic brilliance but it's done the job for which it was bought. It's a neat product that sits just under the screen and has a good volume level. We have tested against some of the worst sound engineered programmes (which seem to be increasing) and there is a definate improvement in clarity. For the price paid it's a good buy.I very rarely use Amazon, my own little protest against tax avoiders, Interestingly a similar product was available off the shelf at nearby store at the same price. Normally I would have bought it there but I had some vouchers to use which covered the cost of the item so used them instead. The deliver date was changed twice during the order period and eventually took 10 days. So I saved nothing and had to wait. Where, I ask myself, was the benefit we are being told of using Amazon?

Great value soundbar that will be a large improvement on the sound of most 32 inch or less screens. Not recommended if you are looking to be wowed by your sound though.From a styling point of view this unit is neat and inoffensive. It fits comfortably within the width of a 27 inch screen.It comes with phono to phono and phono to 3.5 leads and also wall mounting screws*.I have recently bought a gaming monitor that I also use as my TV. The remote is compact and very handy for me. It gives what my Amazon Firestick most lacks in a volume control and mute function. Bluetooth works fine and easily with my Firestick, but the sound using the phono inputs via my monitor headphone socket seems to be a bit better.The sound is reasonable and certainly a large step up from the rubbish sound of my new monitor. I would say that the sound is equivalent to the best sound you could expect from any 32 inch TV. The remote has a treble and bass control. You can reduce the treble but there is no bass to act upon. The sound extends to somewhere in the mids, but won't give you any bass. Stereo is well rendered. Being picky, the sound seems a bit 'airy' to me, as if there are large spaces in the bar and it is far from the last word in audio accuracy. However for the price you could not expect anything better.I am very happy with my purchase, and I could listen through an £800 subwoofer system if I wanted to.*Despite it being decent I wouldn't tamper with my walls for the sake of this unit

Fantastic speaker for the price, I was a bit wary as companies tend to exaggerate the power of the speakers but this bar goes louder than surround sound systems that cost far more.Great quality and clarity as well, seamless Bluetooth link and everything is very easy to set up.Would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in a good, cheap sound bar.

When I first got the bar, was really pleased with it, for a (short) while.Really easy to set up, the sound is great, it really "opened up" the sound for my tv in the living room.The sound presets are a plus, also the bt connectivity. Even the play/pause/next/prev buttons on the remote are a really nice feature.However, the "on/off" button on the remote sends the same signal as the "channel up" button on my set-top-box (openbox v8s), thus the sound bar turns off whenever I try to change the channels which gets kinda frustrating after a while. Had the same kind of problems with an old cheap Chinese remote for a hdmi-switcher (which was pretty much the same build).Later, I found that the "mute" button on my tv remote also coincides with the "bluetooth" function on the sound-bar. This was getting really frustrating...In the end I had to decommission the soundbar because of too many interference with my other devices I have in my living room. Can't use any remote without affecting the soundbar with something.Really, really disappointed...

You can hear the sound, but only just. There is so much static coming out of the speakers that it overpowers the tv's sound

This a great product for the price, everything is in the box to give you a choice of connections to your tv. Gives a good sound , much preferable to the tinny sound that comes out the back of my tv. A big thank you to everyone who answered my question previous to buying this.This beats the one I was looking at in Currys, ( you need to buy extra connections for that one )Would def recommend to anyone who wants to improve the sound quality of their TVs but don't want to spend a fortune.as other reviewers have said there are probably more powerful, ones out there but this does the job for me.

I had just bought a new HD tv and the sound wasn't great so I bought this,I have owned a goodmans 5.1 surround sound system for about 12 years which is great but i can't connect it to my tv only the DVD player/recorder,this sound bar is very good,great sound and very easy to set up,as my tv has limited connections I use the headphone socket which cuts the sound off from the tv and goes through the sound bar,the sound bar is small enough to sit in front of the tv and doesn't block the screen at all,i recommend
