Is this good for frizz and flyaway hair?

I have fine, very frizzy and curly African-American hair, especially at the temples where it's gray. My hair would be very frizzy without this. without this, and the gel turns it into lovely spiral curls. If it's humid, my hair has more body, and if it rains, it gets curlier. The key is to use it on wet hair. I use it alone or in combination with various other curly-hair products. It should work on straight hair too, but it may weigh it down.

Yes, the gel is thick. But it’s not thick enough to hold the hair down completely flat.

can you use this gel on 2A hair to get flexi rod curls?

I'm sure you could. Use a light hand though because it's kind of heavy.

Super value for money

This is lovely, and absolutely huge! I had seen this in the shops and assumed I was buying the same thing, but I didn't read the size and while yes, this is the same product, it's in a much bigger container than the ones I'd seen in-store! Will last forever, and great value for money. Doesn't weigh down my very fine, low density, curly hair, and creates a lovely cast to minimize frizz and set the curls

A great CG product but takes a bit of patience

I use the CG approved product- it’s great but took a bit of patience to work out the best way to use it for my hair. I found its best to put a reasonably large amount on soaking wet hair and then scrunch and diffuse or air dry. Worth the time and work to figure out what was best!
