Just the job
Just the job! These pesky HDMI cables stick a long way out the back of our devices. I bought this to connect to my Apple TV 4. The HDMI has such a long shroud at the back of the plug that it made the Apple TV sit too proud from the wall, taking up valuable space on a shelf. Now with this adapter, the cable turns 90º and points straight down the back of the shelf - with the bulky plug on the cable hidden behind the shelf. This worked perfectly and was very good value. It was received in just a few days.Make sure you buy the right one - you'll need either a 90º one or a 270º one. You'll need to match the socket where you intend to use this, with the photo of the item to work it out. Check twice, just to make sure! Luckily, my diligence paid off and I got the right one!

Good solution for a niggly problem!
Does the job, fits perfectly. I would recommend that potential buyers consider the particular hdmi slot that it is to be used with, and the direction which the cable should take, before purchasing, as there is a similar product available, which has a 270 degree right angle (i.e. it bends at a right angle but in the opposite direction - this may not be immediately apparent, but means that the adapter will point, say, forwards instead of backwards on a side-positioned hdmi port.Have not yet used the free TV arial adapter, though it looks of a similar high quality.

Good product . Takes up much less room behind tv with no discernable picture loss.

A 270'degree one is a safer bet ............
As HDMI's are polarised be careful that you order the right type. This will work in the majority of situations as from my experience the bigger of the two sides of the connector as usually at the top on the devices I have seen. So this would put the cable to the bottom of the device. If you have a 270'degree you have a much wider range of options in how to congiure the cable. Good device though and cost effective....if you get the orientation right. A belkin universal is another solution but is expensive and much bigger ir does have its advantages if you want to double stack.

Perfection
What can I say about this product? It is amazing. It arrived fast.It does the job perfect.I put my tv on the wall at the weekend and only after completing this task I realised my scart for my recorder freeview box and my HDMI cable were both too large for the gap between my wall and my tv which was annoying. After searching on Maplin and various other business websites I found this tasty little number. It does everything it says on the tin. The angle is perfect.I love it
