(Mic_493 Chenille Microfiber Premium Scratch Free Wash Mitt

It holds soap when put in a bucket and cleans quite effectively. Material is good and has not deterioated over time.

I've been using a Meguiars wash mitt for a couple of years. And it has served me very well. However, I recently treated myself to one of these CG Chenille mitts ... and I love it. Nice and soft. But so so soooo absorbent. It holds so much water (car shampoo). Its almost like carrying a gallon of shampoo in your hand. Consequently, each dip into the wash bucket goes twice as far on the car. The only think better than this mitt would be two of them ... one for each hand, lol :-)

You can get a good lot of water in this mitt which really aids not scratching the paintwork especially if you live on a sandy soil

Great item. Be aware, that once this is fully loaded with with your favourite car shampoo, it becomes heavy on the hand and as such heavy to present to the car. The elasticated wrist band is to big for my wrist, i believe i have normal sized ones but this may not be the case..lol

As expected from this brand it’s good quality and is exactly what you’d want for cleaning the car whilst being very affordable.

Holds lots of water, fits hand nicely even when wet. Takes ages to dry (which is probably a good thing)

Best one I’ve bought it’s super soft which is great peace of mind knowing it’s not going to scratch the dirt around your car cleans well too!

Excellent wash mitt, using the usual precautions and multiple bucket method it will help reduce the possibility of marring your paint.

Great car washing mitts easy to use for a scratch free wash and then i throw it in the washing machine with a microfibre wash.

Very surprised by other reviewers regarding the very poor quality of their mitts. I've spent some time using this mitt and I feel it was well worth the minimal investment. Perhaps there are some serious quality control issues at play? Maybe the mitts are being made by different manufacturers? Regardless, I'll provide my .02 regarding my experiences. Let's get to it: Pros: - Extremely soft microfiber. I've used a lot of different microfiber products and I was surprised how soft this mitt was, even after several washes - The inner liner in mine was excellent. It absorbs a lot and as you wash, a gentle squeeze will release more suds than the actual yellow fibers. Awesome! - Elastic on the mitt held my hand well and securely. - Cheap! Cons: - I do question the durability, given some other reviews. Perhaps mine will go downhill as others. Wait and see. Looking closely at the fibers, I do wonder how long it will be until they unravel or get damaged. - The softness is somewhat concerning. I do believe I'll have to be taking extra care of this mitt. Not sure I'd feel comfortable just tossing it in the washing machine on a normal cycle. Overall, I'm pleased. Quality control issues might be a concern for some, but for under $10, I think it's well worth the risk.

Worked wonderfully for washing car exterior--much better than specialty sponges and other car cleaning cloths that I've used in the past. It swiftly picked up the dirt, had a great shine and left no scratches. I used these with the Chemical Guys detailing bucket and cyclone dirt trap.
