Great little, easy to handle book.
Nice little book. We use it with the Hungry caterpillar Tonies character, as it has the story on there.

Very cute book for kids. Well written and illustrated. Nice and sturdy for all of those book bending toddlers out there!

Beautiful Board Book – Perfect for Toddlers
My son absolutely loves this book. The illustrations are very eye-catching, which really keeps his attention. The colours and style are classic Eric Carle, and they make the story engaging even for younger toddlers. The book itself is excellent quality. It’s a sturdy board book with thick pages, so I don’t have to worry about my son tearing it while he’s turning the pages himself. The story is simple and interesting, and one of the best features is the textured spider web, which my son enjoys touching. It adds a nice sensory element to the reading experience. My son is 28 months old, and this book is perfect for his age. It’s great for both reading together and letting him explore independently. The price is reasonable for the quality you get. Overall, a lovely, well-made book that I would highly recommend for toddlers.

Has helped two year old - no longer scared of spiders
Arrived quickly, good quality, good value. This book is great it actually has a spider web that is tactile/touchable = starts off as a line and as each page turns the spider builds more of its web. Our two year old had no fear of spiders until unfortunately a relative got scared when they saw one. From that point on she would get upset whenever she saw one or a web. Since reading this book to her she now has actually stroked a few spiders in the garden. Still a bit wary of webs, though the other day she did go near one and very quickly touch the edge of one. It has a lovely story and I would recommend this book for any child.

Beautiful book. Fell apart quickly
The book is fantastic. The fly, spider and silky thread have texture so a happy tactile surprise. Illustrations beautiful and a whole collection of friendly animals to enchant small and big humans alike... BUT - the book has no structural integrity and promptly fell apart in my toddler's hands. She hasn't destroyed any of her other board books, some of which have been entertaining her for over a year, but this one was quite "crunchy" and pages began separating almost immediately. The whole book is now one mess of fixing-tape, and still not sturdy enough. SHAME!!

Less tactile than anticipated
Not as tactile as I hoped but a good little book

Delightful Book
This is both mine and my sons favorite Eric Carle book. It is beautifully simplistic, visually appealing and delightful for both mum (or dad) and baby! My son has had this book since he was about 8weeks old and is now going on two and it is his absolute favorite book. So much that I am now having to purchase a 2nd one as with being read at least three times a day and carried about lovingly by a toddler it is now in abit of a state. Despite so many readings it hasnt become tiresome like most of my sons other board books. The art is classic Eric Carle, charming and bright and the story fun.Definetly a 5 star book for little ones!

Perfect bedtime story

Not sure it sends the right message
The story is simplay about a spider spinning its web, and no matter what animal approached it to ask a question, it did not reply (repeatedly). My son asked why is the spider ignoring everyone, and I said probably because it is very busy, but it's rude to ignore others nonetheless.

In a world full of distractions, it is important to pursue our goals
It is again one of those Eric Carle's books that deliver an important message through stories that are fun to read with the young ones. It is the story of a spider who chooses to quietly do what might seem as mundane and routine work while everyone else around is trying to distract it with potentially interesting things. In the end it is because of that routine work, it is rewarded. Beautiful illustrations, high quality printing, sturdy board book with touch and feel to ever growing spider's web. Me and my son have ended up reading it many many times together.
