Miracle-Gro EverGreen Mosskill Lawn Food and Moss Control, 2.8kg, 80 m2, Brown

I applied this product to my lawn in April 2024 and in May 2024 the lawn is noticeably greener and is virtually moss-free.I used some canes to help mark out metre squares on the lawn and moved them along the lawn as I had covered each square as I only had 5 canes. I also used a measuring cup which I placed onto the scales at the start. Then I put the required amount of feed for one metre into the cup and noted how full the cup was. Whilst out on the lawn was able to just keep filling the cup to the same level.I also raked the moss as per the instructions.This year I am also not cutting the lawn quite as short as I did in previous years as this helps the grass to out-compete the moss going forward as the longer blades of grass mean more sunshine captured and happier grass!The 2 photos show exactly the same patch of law taken in March and May, and the May image show a much deeper green lawn.Whilst it is fiddly to use this product, I am happy to recommend this product as I have found it worth the effort of use if you want a better looking lawn.

The media could not be loaded. This product killed the moss nicely but after 6 weeks the dandelions and whatever weed I've recorded with this review have prevailed. I was hoping for a magic cure for my grass but now I'm resigned to weed it myself going forwards. Meh!The product did what it was supposed to do. The moss is gone.

The moss was destroyed in 24 hours, but I followed the instructions, raking the area with a long tine rake to remove the dead moss. My grass is just beginning to renew itself but it has been slow because of no rain or watering restrictions. So, very slow, but it does work well and most of my grass had been overrun with moss, but is now on the mend with new shoots springing up. It works but constant sun and little water slows the process. Now that rain has arrived again the grass has sprung to life from the feed that was included in the mix as part of the treatment. It works!
