While the 'Executive Leather Case' doesn't directly protect the screen like some (ie it doesn't have a second screen) it does an excellent job of overall protection and security as it looks like book when closed and unless you drop something on the screen while operating the tablet it confers good overall protection. It is versatile and operates as a stand with three different postures. In addition the package includes a stylus that is useful but a niggle is that if you want to store it with the IPad in situ the 'framework' distorts so that there are margin errors in terms of access to the touch screen. However, the best postion to install the stylus with the IPad in situ is at the top and this minimises any distortion. Overall it's a very attractive and sturdy case that I would strongly recommend.

This is a review for the Mofred iPad Air 2 case.It’s a good, comfortable, well fitting and secure case. However, after slotting my iPad into it, I noticed that the screen was very dim. So, I spent 5 minutes researching the location of the ambient light sensors on the iPad Air 2. It’s a shame the designers didn’t spend 5 minutes doing the same, as it would have saved me the effort of cutting two notches out of my new case, to allow light into both of the sensors. One sensor is right next to one of the magnets that hold the case shut, so you have to be careful when making this modification. Overall it’s a nice case, but I knocked a star off for the design flaw. Shouldn’t really have to start cutting holes in a brand new case which claims to be exclusively made for your product.And yes, I did check the model number/product code before I purchased the case. I definitely have an iPad Air 2.

I have to admit to being hesitant about ordering this case due to some of the negative reviews on here. The first time that I came across this item I really liked the specification of it. So I ordered it, and I’m not disappointed that I did. Personally I was surprised at the good looks, quality and feel of it at this price level. I’m registered partially sighted and disabled which means I’m virtually housebound so my beloved iPad gets a lot of use, and therefore so does the case. Due to the poor eyesight I need a little ‘bulk’ to the iPad to make it easier to hold, this case provides that, and even I can appreciate the good looks of this case when closed. I’ve found the pockets are very handy, as is the inclusion of the screen protector and the stylus. I’ve never possessed a stylus until now, what a boon for people in my situation! I don’t take many pictures but according to my partner there’s no degradation of them as I’ve seen highlighted in other reviews. Would I recommend this case? Yes, and therefore it gets five stars from me.

Purchased this for a new iPad Air 2. Reviews indicated good quality.ProsThis is a high quality looking case, and one that has attracted some admiring remarks from friends.Fits the apple iPad Air 2 perfectly and it is a snug fit.There are suitable holes for the Lightning charging connector and for the camera and all controls.ConsThere is nowhere to easily store a stylus or other slightly bulky accessory because the pocket is rather a slim.Worse, there is no flap to cover and secure the pocket, so items such as a stylus not only distort the case but can easily fall out of the pocket. The stylus I use has a pen-like pocket clip and this has worked OK so far, but it does make the pocket bulge and I expect to lose the stylus eventually! (But see 2019 UPDATE below.)The pocket has no appreciable depth so anything that is inserted will be a tight fit and must be relatively thin. For example, there is just enough room for a cleaning clothOverall I like the case a lot, despite the shortcomings, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a good-looking quality product. Just be aware of the potential limitations.BTW, the supplier contacted me after purchase to ask me what I thought of the case. A nice touch to be requested for some personal feedback on the product.UPDATE June 2019: Four years later and this iPad case is still in use. BUT . . .Pros:- It has probably saved my iPad from damage several times when dropped on the floor.- It's been sort of OK, but read on.Cons:- Back in 2014 was mislead into believing this was a real leather case. It is NOT! It is "P U Leather", a detail which is now qualified on the MOFRED Web site. Even so, when new it does look the part!- The P U leather case has been fraying more and more at the edges for some time and is now looking very tatty.- The pocket has stretched from holding a screen cleaning cloth and a quality metal stylus (mine uses a tether cable connected to the headphone socket: it is the "The Friendly Swede Capacitive Replaceable Fiber Tip Hybrid Stylus").So, the big disappointment is that the artificial leather doesn't wear very well. In daily use it looked OK for about a year or two, but after that it became increasingly embarrassing to show in public from a cosmetic perspective. Perhaps this could possibly be a lot better product if made from real leather, which might just survive longer.It beggars belief that the claimed RRP is now £44.95! But MOFRED are extensively "discounting" the products from their supposed RRP and the price they are now asking makes more sense.Reading through the reviews and Q&A today makes me think that the quality is not consistent. It galls me that a product like this probably ends up in landfill because it doesn't survive long from a cosmetic perspective. For a product with a claimed £45 RRP I would expect something far better! So, if I cannot find anything better, I may take the risk and buy another while the price is low.I have downgraded this from 4 stars to 3 stars because of the quality experience and concerns.

This cover is extremely good quality for the money. I have an ipad air 2 which has been in the same case since it was new about 5 years ago.. loved the black and tan colour scheme of this cover. Perfect fit for my ipad. It is also very sturdy because it also works as a stand when folded out. All things considered an easy 5 star rating. Only time will tell if it lasts as long as my last cover.

Looks great, works well, easy to use. What more could you ask for!!!!

This IPad case seems far better than my last one which pretty much fell apart after just 2 years of frequent use. So far at least I’m very satisfied with the quality of this one.
