Remo Emperor Rugged White Patch, Coated, 14", BE-0114-00

Bought as a replacement head for a Korg Wavedrum. The original fibre head, whilst good for hand playing, wasn’t good with sticks or brushes. After a while the fibres started fraying and it needed replacing. This is a slightly textured plastic head, great with sticks but feels fine playing with the hands. The head fits the Wavedrum perfectly. Replacing it was simple, unscrew the bolts, remove the rim, replace, screw up. It took about 2-3 min. Then tune to preference. Sounds great, feels good. Really happy with it. I’ll update in a few months with regards to wear.

C'mon - this is the best batter head known to man. If's it's good enough for John Bonham, it's good enough for me. I use this as a Snare batter head and am super loyal to REMO- loads of attack and is very durable and will probably be on my snare for 5 years before I replace it. Brilliant!

A little while ago I purchased one of these from Stadium music and received an email shortly thereafter regarding a stock error. They did not have the item that I was sold. They immediately got in touch and offered to upgrade the skin to the Emperor X for free as it had been a mistake on their part, I agreed and they sent me a pair of VATER H5AW's sticks free as an apology. Accidents will happen and it is how you deal with them that make the company stand out from the rest. I am a Very happy customer who will look out for Stadium Music in future! The skin sounds and feels great and the sticks are also very nice!

This is a solid 2 ply batter head, as used by the great john Bonham. It's a classic heavy duty skin which gives a very satisfying whack when hit.

This 13" head fit my snare perfectly, and for a cheap price. Made in the USA, I bought this head along with a 12" and 14" and I am pleased with all three. I’ve been drumming for almost three years now and needed to replace my low quality heads that have been beaten and battered to all hell with higher quality heads with a better, warmer sound. Remo does just that. Observations: - The heads look exactly as described. I bought three drum heads; the 13” head is obviously smaller than the 14” head but larger than the 12” head. - This is your standard Remo Ambassador drum head. There’s no glossy finish. This is a simple head and it does a simple job. - It might be a given, but know your setup before purchasing and research what you need to do to produce a less muffling and in tune sound. Any experienced drummer knows this. Although my old heads were produced by GP Percussion, as that is the brand of my drum set, it is already evident to me that Remo has much higher quality heads that create wonderful sound when hit with proper muffling. I recommend these for the sound and given price. I should note that I bought this product at full price and am not affiliated with Amazon or the seller.
