I bought this shoes which is very good but it did not fit me so I had to return. I am told the refund will be made late due to the absences of staff. Brilliant! After several years of trying different shops and makes (Brantano, Clarks, Samuel Windsor etc.) I've finally found a pair of office shoes that can put up with the daily rough walking that I do around the business park where I work which has what I can only describe as "unrelenting" gravel paths. All my shoes have split within weeks (the Windsor and Brantano ones being the absolute worst) but these have lasted a good six months and are still going. I think they look good too and are comfortable. It took a few days longer than normal to break them in, but they are now very easy to wear. Because I have a tendency to walk by leaning too much on the outside of my foot, the Brantano ones began to wear down immediately to reflect this, exacerbating my gait and causing me to walk even more like a monkey. These have been strong and flexible enough to withstand that pressure. Will definitely buy again.

this is my third pair over the years given normal usage I get about 18 months out of a pair and the soles are then well and truly worn down . This is my third pair over about four or so years they give ezcellant wear in all weathers and being warm and dry ,you could put in a pair of fleecy insoles it you wished .I feel they have done all I asked from them Kindest Regards R C

For the price I didn't expect too much but these are one of my most comfortable shoes and as a work shoe worn all day they would be hard to beat. Will probably get a second pair as a spare. UPDATE..... I'm still wearing these BUT walking through heavy rain in the town I ended up with wet feet - and the boots took forever to dry afterwards. Not sure if the top is pourus or how the water got in, but not good. So only on fine days from now on.

They are tight around the toes. I thought they would be ok after a couple of months but they did not stretch so they will end up in charity shop.

I have bought Roamers a couple of times. My previous boots had a Henley sole and heel, they have proved to be excellent. My latest pair, bought on a repeat purchase basis, have a Flexi sole and heal. They are not the same and in my view a poorer quality. Time will tell if they last, but I'm not hopeful and feel a little let down.

Good value and comfortable

Really good price purchase. Soft leather uppers with composition sole. Size as expected. Fit so good I ordered another pair straight away.
