Great design
A well made and robust stand. Most important for me - there is space for my legs, unlike the X frame stands.

First class keyboard stand
So. After owning one of your more typical ironing board type stands, I decided on buying something a bit more secure, and with added stability, so as to keep my Yamaha keyboard in place when using it. I stumbled across the Yamaha L2C stand by chance, and thought hmmm. It’s very expensive for what it is. It’s just a couple of bits of black powder coated bent metal with a few bolts to keep it together. But having read the reviews, I thought I’d take a punt on it, and see if it lives up to its hype. On opening the box it arrived in, I have to say it felt quite robust considering the frail look of the thing. Having turned my keyboard upside down, I duly placed the stand on the bottom of the unit, and screwed in the three fixing points. This is actually very easy to do, despite what others might tell you. Having turned the stand and keyboard the right way up, I was immediately blown away with just how stable and secure my keyboard was. It was rock solid and just didn’t budge at all!! I’m 6ft 3” and with my height, the stool I had purchased to go with the stand just went hand in glove with the stands height and seating position. Everything just fell into place for perfect positioning, and playing. Absolutely brilliant! As I say, this stand isn’t cheap, but it is well worth the money, and hopefully I will get many many years of use out of it. So yes. I highly recommend this stand. It does exactly what it’s meant to do, without question.

Good sturdy stand
I bought the Yamaha YPT210 keyboard in a toy store who sold me a non-Yamaha stand to go with it that you rest the keyboard on without fixing it, but it was impossible to use with the Yamaha keyboard. I took that back, searched the internet for the stand that matches the keyboard and found this. The main advantage of this is that it is designed to fit a Yamaha keyboard. It is also very stable and secure. The keyboard screws on to the stand in three places (by hand so you don't need a screwdriver) so it is not the sort of stand that you can put away quickly when you aren't using it. This makes it impractical to get it out and put it away daily for practise so we've had to find a permanent position for it in the house. You also can't adjust the height of it so we use an adjustable office chair with it to get the height right.

Great stand for your Yamaha LP12
This stand is perfect for our Yamaha LP12 Keyboard, so much better than the generic ironing board scissor type stands. I read some comments saying instructions were poor, and that it was difficult to assemble ?? Erm hello, it unfolds and three thumb-screws screw into the three obvious holes in base of keyboard. It just could not be more obvious and simple if they tried. The end result a rigid, perfectly compatible base. The width (front to back) of the base contributes to it's stability, but this does mean it does not fit as close to the wall as some would like. The upside is that your piano stool fits underneath, which you can not do with a scissor stand. The height is not adjustable, but then neither is a real piano. It is actually just right, as Mr Yamaha intended. You are paying for it's design, quality and compatibility with your Yamaha keyboard. If you think good value should weigh more, go buy a cheap scissor type stand, then throw it away when you eventually buy this. Had to be 5 stars Best of luck.

Sturdy, Good Height, Folds up when not in use
This is the perfect stand for the Yamaha PSR-E363 Portable Keyboard , It takes up quite a bit of room when attached to the keyboard and if against a wall will stick out into the room quite a bit so bear this in mind, however you won't bang your knees on it like the X designed ones. With this design, there are no straps, the bolts are designed to line up with the fittings directly and when not in use it folds up slim (9cm Deep, 57cm Tall , 53cm Wide , So you can tuck it away in a small space . A note on assembly - Easiest way to attach is to turn the keyboard upside down on something soft, a towel or a bed, and place the stand upside down on it. All in all, very good and well designed, but i'd expect nothing less from Yamaha

Stand for Yamaha keyboard Piaggero type NP-31
the stand is easy to assemble with three screws located in place with the keyboard turned upside down. the keboard is held nice and steady and I find that the height is just fine.

that's better!
To save money when I first got my keyboard I bought a budget stand that had legs like an ironing board that totally got in the way. It actually made me not want to play my keyboard because it made me sit awkwardly, too far away from the music and it hurt my back. This stand is perfect (literally made for) the keyboard and now I am comfortable and can sit with my legs properly underneath and see the music. The stand is light, minimal but absolutely functional and it is easy to fit. It was worth the money. I don't want to brag but I'm a gifted musician and the world is a better place now that I can play my music :-).

Yamaha Keyboard Stand
I paid the extra required to get this genuine Yamaha keyboard stand and am personally pleased that I did. The stand screwed quickly and easily into the underside of my Yamaha YPT-210 keyboard and was then instantly ready to use. It is very sturdy. I also like the open leg design (as compared with X-type stands) but I also agree with the previous reviewer who commented on the fact that this stand is one a fixed height. This may limit it for you. You need to be sure the height is right for you and your chair combination. I use a chair with a wide adjustment range and am quite tall so this is perfect for me. When fitted to the YPT-210, I make it that the top surface of the piano keys are at a height of 740-750mm from the floor.
