Garnier BB Cream Original Light Tinted Moisturiser 50ml

I was looking for a daytime moisturiser and came across BB cream and thought it would be a good option. The bottle is bigger than I thought it would be, and you only need to use a little bit so it will last! I was unsure whether to buy light/medium but decided to go for light hoping it wouldn't be too pale but it was darker than I thought it would be, so glad I opted for the lighter shade! Seems to give a good even coverage but takes a minute to rub it in properly so it's not patchy. Gives me a nice glow for during the day and not as heavy as foundation although I can feel it on my skin too so not ultra light but for the price it's great, also has spf15 which is a nice touch!

This is the first product of this type that i've tried so I don't really have anything to compare it to however I am deffinatly impressed and it has fact become my favourite makeup product. I wasn't sure whether I was going to need the light colour or not put it is a perfect match for my skin tone. I tend to wear alot of makup but was looking for something a little more natural for daytime use. Although this doesn't give much coverage it's enough to simply give the skin a fresher look. If I am going to wear more makeup I use this under my foundation as it make's application smooth and even. You don't need to use much of the product to get a decent coverage infact mine has lasted my over 3 months of daily wear! Overall I would say I am extremely impressed with this product!

If you're after something to give coverage then this won't be for you. If you already have good skin and are just after something more mattifying than a tinted moisturiser that helps give the appearance of a more even skin tone, then I think you'll be happy. Excellent for the price, and perfect for day time use. Doesn't feel heavy like a normal foundation but does have a tint to it, which is fine for fair skin, but even the 'fair' one would not be suitable for very very pale skin as it would leave you looking slightly orange for sure. All in all, it's fine for me and my needs, to just provide a very light coverage but without the greasy look that many tinted moisturisers give and I'd buy it again.

As a person with terribly dry, easily irritated and sensitive skin I'll admit, I was sceptical. When I first opened the sachet (got the free sample, still waiting for the one I ordered from these buggers!) I was initially horrified by the darkness of it. I'm naturally blonde and have the not so wonderful pale skin tone that accompanies it! After applying it and blending it in, which was remarkably easy, I left it a good 10 minutes to "settle in". I was absolutely amazed when I checked again, it was flawless! Beautiful even coverage, hid my uneven bits and felt silky smooth for hours after! I'm so impressed with this blemish balm, I've thrown out all my old foundation and am eagerly awaiting this to come through my door! So, if you're sceptical look out for a free sample before parting with your dosh, as it's not mega cheap, but I almost bet you'll love it as much as me :) Oh, I'd probably look for another seller on here than these, they take FOREVER!

Leaves a white layer on my skin tone.

I like this product, and I am surprised to say so since I generally do not find skin products that work for me, even when others recite the hype about them! It looks scary as you put it on because it is quite orangey... however, it blends on to your skin very well and does not at all look like you've done a bad job with some foundation cream. It does not cover spots as well as foundation but it does help, and it does not seem to cause spots for me like foundation does. It does add a little colour to my pale face, evens my skin tone, and makes me look more radiant. It feels light and I particularly like wearing it in situations where I can not be bothered to re-apply makeup (e.g. post-gym, or for an only-in-the-office day) - it gives me a little more confidence when my complexion is bad. I will buy this again, although next time I might try the oil-free version just to compare.

Excellent tint and moisturiser in one, went on smoothly and streak free, more lighter on the skin than most foundations which also meant it stayed on even with my face mask over the top, feels very natural and I do see a nice glow after applying. I won’t be using anything else from now on much better for my skin type which is quite dry, I love this BB cream.

I have a love hate with this bb cream. I love the colour, as I'm pretty pale and finding anything that isn't too yellow or too pink or too dark is rare. I'm not a fan of the coverage, because it does nothing to hide blemishes or redness, even though I presumed evening skin tone was the point. It seems to make my pores and fine lines more obvious, and I've had to add concealer to my morning routine as my under eye area looks so dark after using this. I like how lightweight it is, and its blendability, when you look at me it looks like my skin, you can see my light freckles which is rare too, but on the flip side, you can see pretty much all my acne scarring and any breakouts. I do find my skin gets really oily come afternoon, but, I find its good under a mask, it doesn't just rub off. So basically, I like it for some things, and not others. Also, I have extremely sensitive skin and I've not reacted to it, and that's a huge plus too, hence why I've given 3 stars as I feel that's fair.
