Amazing beside commodore everything you need
The commode is sturdy and well made. This is exactly what I was looking for. My sister is having a total knee replacement soon and having this will help so much. The toilet is super comfy, my husband and I put it together for her, it comes with a light that you put on the front and is motion sensor. The toilet is lightweight so it can be transported with ease, it comes with arm and back rest, the top is very soft and can be use as a seat also, excellent height too. This bedside toilet comes with everything you need, paper toilet holder that you can put on either side, plastic trash bags, 2 inner barrels which is great so you can clean one and let it dry and use the extra one, the arm and back rest are detachable also. A must have. My sister is very happy.

Roomie
I am a very big man (350lb), and this thing makes me feel as though I am well supported. Not only is it sturdy but roomy enough where I don't feel as though I am being cramped. It also has illumination that can be remotely controlled. This chair will not disappoint.

Bedside Commode 4 stars
Purchased for an elderly person. Very easy to assemble and very sturdy. Easy to clean. Two buckets. The tissue box is not large enough to accept a roll of toilet paper. The three rolls of liner bags are very flimsy, do not tear off the roll without large holes, and do NOT fit the bucket. Had to purchase commode liner bags from a local store. The motion detector light works very well but did not come with the battery as it says it does. That being said, it is well worth the money for this very sturdy bedside commode. This commode beats the cheap, rickety, non-weight bearing, metal-framed bedside commode that is provided by Medicare.

Amazing Toilet
Let me tell you a story. My Dad (87) was very close to dying. Within days of receiving this toilet. He was totally out of it and no hope of survival. I purchased this toilet because the one from hospice was garbage and not sturdy and my Dad couldn’t stand on his own and he was a large man. He didn’t wake for around two days and was catheterized because he couldn’t stand. Well he woke having a moment of clarity and he saw this toilet and said “Wow, look at that.” He said he wanted to sit on it. I explained to him he had a catheter and didn’t need to go on the toilet. He said “I just want to sit on it. It’s so nice.” So my son and I helped him get on it and he sat there just admiring it. It’s that nice. Then later he wanted to get on it again when my niece was there and my Dad lost balance and my niece had to dive over the toilet to catch him from totally collapsing. The arm broke which you would have expected because my niece is very tall and strong and my Dad is a large man. My Father passed but four days later my Mom (87) fell and broke her pelvis. Again we needed this toilet. I asked a question on whether I could order a new arm and forgot about asking this question because of everything going on in our family. Well today I received a package with a new arm. What amazing customer service. This truly makes me so happy. Thank you so much.

Very safe
The material is very good and strong. I love the color. My mom use it without fear of tipping over and having an accident.

ITS ALL A LIE!!!
I purchased this commode NOT even 2 weeks ago, and I did my reading of the reviews and I read about the product. I liked what I read in the reviews and description of this commode. I'm like "FINALLY, a commode that is descent looking, that looks more like a "chair" than the average commode. Something that is tough, durable, and is made for the larger size folks." When I put it together, I kind of just stared at it, because it was just a shell of plastic, with no support underneath...it is literally hollow underneath, and the supporting shell is MAYBE at the most, between 1/8 & 1/4 inches thick, with a toilet seat on top. I am very disappointed with this commode. The money I (and others) spent on this, probably cost less than $5 to make in the factory, and it shows. Like I said, I have had this product for less than 2 weeks and the thing started folding out on me around the bottom about 6 days ago. First the right side gave way, and then just today the left side gave way AND split (as you can see in the photos). The little cushion, which is held on by what looks like double sided sticky tape, fell off into the bucket after I got done 'using' it. Oh, let's not leave out the bucket. The bucket on this thing is a joke. The bucket straight on one side and slants on the other. When you pick it up by the handle 'empty', the buckets leans to the slanted side ALOT!! So, imagine my utter suprise and total disbelief, when I picked it up out of the commode to go empty it, and it leaned suddenly towards the slanted side and spilled (splashed) out, all over my legs and floor. The bucket it very flimsy and the lid doesn't fit very well. I'm going to stop there, because I can go on and on and on about this "contraption". Looks can be very deceiving, and they definitely are when it comes to this commode...don't waste your money on this, I regret the day I bought it.

Fanastic toliet
I can't say enough good about this toliet it is an excellent height but 2 more inches would really be great, its wide comfortable, just so great for a Senior citizen, I think anyone looking for a decent portable toliet would enjoy this one, the width is great to and the side arms do come off as well, our family would highly recommend this toliet for design and comfort, plus sturdy and light enough to transport.

Sturdy and reliable
I bought this for my father who had minimal use of his legs and was fearful of using a commode. After using this he said, "I would recommend this product to anyone. This seat is solid. Very sturdy." The light in the front does run through batteries rather quickly but is bright and comes on immediately. The handles are great. The bags and pail make it so easy on a disabled person to use and remain independent. Highly recommend.
