The superior DT terminal release tool
This release tool just works well. I have used many other brands. This is the best so far!

No joy with plastic release tool. I recommend this metal type.
Worked perfectly to remove pinout on 2004 dodge Cummins ECM connection block. Tried the plastic version with no luck.

The right tool for the job
Had one of these plugs to connect up and was stumped til I came across this perfect tool. Without it, forget it. With it, you can disassemble or build one of these plugs in a matter of minutes. Pricey for what it is but works perfectly, better than the el cheapo plastic ones that I had trouble using (shown in photo 1). Your results may vary.
