I purchased this so I could have a symbol of the love and friendship we share. He loves anything artsy and I was happy he was enthusiastic about it. We read the directions and also watched some youtube videos for more tips. This particular kit does include an extra, albeit very small, kit in case you're not comfortable tackling the real one straightaway, but we skipped that. Honestly it was so much fun to stand together holding hands as the goo turned solid. Make sure when you fill the mold with the casting material that you only pour about half of it in at first, rotating the bucket around so that any air bubbles can release. Otherwise you may end up with holes in your fingers. And hold it a few inches from the table and drop it like you do with a cake prior to baking it. We only let ours set for about 2 hours and it was plenty of time to harden. It was exciting to peel the mold away and see the details of our hands- nail beds, cuticles, skin texture and veins. I only had to sand a few places for it to look great. There's a wooden stand to place it on. I'm going to get a kit for my parents and do it for them. They're in their late 80s and I think it will be the perfect gift.

Not at all easy to use, set too quickly and ruined my bowl. The casting solution when introduced to water didn’t turn into a liquid solution, it started hardening while I was mixing it together, so I couldn’t pour it into the mold.I would very much like a refund. Not just for the faulty product but because it also ruined my bowl.

This was initially meant for my boyfriend and I, But while my mom was visiting from Texas we did this instead! Boy am I glad we did! I will forever have my mother and I as a beautiful keepsake! Easy to use, Easy clean up, Easy to follow directions, and Beautiful outcome!

My husband and I did this on our anniversary and it came out beautifully! I am thinking about painting it, either way plain or painted I believe would both be absolutely stunning

Directions were easy to follow. Process was quick and turned out perfect. 👍👍

We fallowed the directions step by step even to the water temperature. We held our hand in for 20 minutes which is longer than directions. The mold would not settle it was nothing but a watery mess. So I end up wasting my money and time, a watery mess and an upset crying kid. My son has been wanting to do this for awhile to where I have a little extra money to purchase and it was nothing but a complete failure. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!! I did one of these with my oldest when he was very young and never had a problem.
