Menzerna - Super Finish 3500 250ml

I bought this after seeing a chap at the local indie Porsche garage using Menzerna 3500 with an MF pad on a Rupes long throw DA doing a single stage correction on their recent arrived pre-loved cars. I have been hand polishing cars for at leat 40 years but finally took the plunge and bought the 12mm throw DA machine from Autobrite Direct. I figured that my cars were only in need of a single stage after ten years of being garaged and hand washed. On a Lake Country green foam pad, I completed a single stage correction that removed spidering, marring, washing and leathering marks and light swirls from a two stage painted flame red Vauxhall (GM). Using four passes per set and covering about 1/2 sq metre per set, I did a whole car and even removed one of two quite marked scratches enough for them to be difficult to see. I used about 1/4 of a bottle. This has given me the confidence to atttempt the paint on our 7 year old high mileage metalic black car that has 'German' paint. I will stick with Menzerna 3500 but perhaps change out the pads for a heavier cut organge pad and get some experience in with that. This Menzerna offers excellent lubrication during the correction phase and doesn't seem to dust at all. It easily copes with four passes per set before I wiped it off with an mf cloth. It is quite oily so do use panel prep or a 50% IPA solution as part of your wipe and inspect after a set of passes. It brough the red paint on our ten yer old car up to a high gloss finish which I then protected by adding a coat of synthetic finishing wax and a hyrdophobic top coat. If it is good enough on pre-loved Porsches, it is good enough for me.

Great polish it removes light swirls, scratches and holograms. Leaves a good quality shine. Used a drill and light polishing pad. Not sure if you would get the same results with hand polishing but it definitely improved the finish of the car. Only downside I bought the small bottle to try, it makes more sense to buy the larger size bottle. We'll worth it for removing holograms, swirls and light scratches

So I had an "at home bumper repair" company touch up my rear bumper. It was full of particles and orange peel, so I wet-sanded the entire rear bumper. After wet sanding, I polished with a wool pad and rotary. I also decided to use the rotary and wool pad on the side of the car to create a nice, smooth shine. HOWEVER, wool pads notoriously cause holograms (swirls) in paint. My paint is a dark grey; the holograms were highly pronounced in the sun. This product was recommended and I used it with my DA Polisher and an orange pad. Removing the holograms and swirls only took one application, leaving the paint beautiful! This product is for you if you have scratches, swirls, and holograms! No need to worry, this will take care of you! I'm now a Menzerna Fanboy!

I used this product after using a light compound to prepare for a nano ceramic coating. This enhanced the shine and also slightly improved the very faint scratches. I used a white chemical guys pad to apply and a Dewalt cordless random orbit machine. I was pretty pleased with the results. I used the Gyeon IPA prep spray after the polishing compound. This stuff is good but it’s also expensive for the amount you get. I haven’t tried any other polishing compounds so I can’t compare.
