great pair of binos
just brought these for the wife when shes out walking the dog in lonely places to check out people in the distance to stay safe and for bird watching , these binos look quality fit well in the hands ie they dont slip textured grip either side the focus adjuster turns smoothly and feels well made , the view through the lenses is good and sharp , on short distance minimum focus had put around 4 .5 metres you wont be able to focus on a object below this , but hey thats why we have eyes if your that close you dont need the binos , now they are the length of a mans hand open base of palm to top of finger tops , and they feel light weight , lense caps both ends rubber looks good quality and strap to hang these around your neck when in use , when your walking they come with a decent shoulder strap green bag , to sum these binos up for the money great buy and well made for £50 i cant knock these at all , wife loves them feels a lot safer on walks ..........hope this helps

Exceptional value, well made binoculars
Have owned many binocuars over the years including quality makes like Zeiss, Opticron and Nikon. These binocuars compare favourably with them all. I use for bird watching. The field of view is a little narrow and most bird watchers settle on 8 x 42 however the sweet spot in the middle of the viewing field of these Binocuars gives a very crisp and bright view. TBF the fall off in image quality around the edges is noticabley worse than other much more expensive makes but I can live with this when the birds viewed can be seen in such fine detail. Have had some fantastic views of tree creepers and Goldcrests and various other birds, to my way of thinking the ten times magnification just gives a little more detail when viewing birds such as these, able to pick out the subtle camouflage markings on the tree creeper for example.A little more image shake with ten times magnification but can live with this as long as not had too much to drink the night before!Seem to be sturdy and well made, di optre adjustment stiff and stays set where you put it, focussing smooth and fast. Been out in the drizzle and rain and no fogging so nitrogen seals seem ok as well.A very good buy for the money.

Good value for the money. Acceptable image quality for the modest price.
I recently bought these as a cheap "Keep in the car" pair to complement my usual Nikon and Olympus binoculars. For the price, they're quite impressive. Nicely made, good design and come with captive lens caps front and back.Optical quality is very acceptable for a low-ish cost product. Not in the league of my slightly more expensive Olympus 8x40, especially in low light, and they don't quite have the same clarity of image. However, they are still perfectly usable, and do seem more robust than my Olympus ones (If the waterproof claim is to be believed)Would I recommend them? Yes, with reservations. For occasional use, for use by children who may drop them, or for when you don't want to be carrying an expensive pair to a sports event, muddy field or similar, they'd be ideal. If it's to be your only pair, I'd say no. Spend a little more and go for one of the general purpose designs from Olympus, which are still modestly priced but deliver a far better image at the expense of weather resistance and ultimate toughness.Of course, if these turn out not to be waterproof as advertised anyway, then the above argument is invalidated and I'd go Olympus every time.

No Brainer Budget Bino's
Was in the market for some budget bino's as I've just taken up airgun shooting and we have a large garden with mature trees, backing out over miles of open fields (not shooting over them as I don't have permission - yet!).Didn't want to spend a lot of money but wanted to try and get quality items too - which is what we all want I guess. Did my reading, watched some YouTube reviews and these seemed to fit the bill. Ordered and they arrived next day, and I have to say that really do feel like a high quality item. The adjustable eye turrets are great, but in particular the eye diopter and the focus control are really well weighted and perform brilliantly - feel like the same level of quality of the zoom on my new Hawke Airmax riflescope (£155). Lenses are clear and let in a lot of light, and the item overall just feels like a really good pair of binoculars.Don't get me wrong - I'm no binocular expert - first pair I've held since childhood - so have nothing to compare these to. I'm also prone to fads here and there - I'm 47 yr old male with a good income, I'm allowed! So I always try to buy quality but at reasonable cost when I'm trying anything new - so that I won't get put off by a crap purchase that doesn't do the job, and also so that whatever I've bought should be good enough for a year or two if I take to it before upgrading. Done this with my air rifle, my road bike, and a whole load of other stuff. over the years and its an approach that works for me.And thus, these have worked too. I'm over the moon with them, and until (if ever) I feel the need to justify some Hawke Frontier bins these are absolutely brilliant for what I want. The joy last night of spotting a rabbit feeding on some daisies between the sugar beet over the wall was immense, as was following a buzzard mid flight this morning. I do fear, however, that I may become a bit of a bird watcher, so there's that.If you like nice things, don't want to spend too much but still want quality that will do the job - buy them. It's that simple.

As advertised which is always a bonus!!!
Nothing to dislike about these binoculars as they are easy to use and precise.I have river plus sea views from my windows and these binoculars allow me to see friends out and about across the cliffs and surrounding areas. Fantastic buy and 100% value for money! The adjustable settings are simple but accurate and the magnification is awesome.Thank you from this very happy 73 year old !!!!
