This is a basic 6VDC 500mA electronic power supply with a 5.5mm x 2.2mm male barrel connector. It does what it is supposed to. I confirmed output at 6VDC but I have no way of determining milliamperage. I got this because I needed a 6V power adapter for a project I am building. I like the two conductor mini zip cord because it is less bulky than a round cord and fits into the smaller space I needed.Pretty basic, but it checked off all my boxes and I would buy this again.

Upon receiving the product, I found the appearance to be acceptable, with the standard design one would expect from a power adapter. One of the main issues I had with this adapter was compatibility – or lack thereof – with the 4VWIN driveway warning system. This often results in intermittent power interruptions, resulting in inconsistent alarm system performance.In terms of performance, the 6V 500mA C power adapter did not meet expectations. Frequent power outages and overheating issues not only reduced the effectiveness of the driveway warning system, but also made me question the overall reliability of the product. Considering the poor performance and reliability of the 6V 500mA C power adapter, it's safe to say that it doesn't offer good value for money.
