Very handy (with some modification) for hardwiring dashcam
Solidly made item - although I've not exactly used it for its intended purpose. I've used this to hardwire my AUTO-VOX B40 A118C Stealth HD 1080P 1.5" Black Box Car Dvr Camera Recorder Dash cam- 170° Super Wide Angle 6G Lens G-Sensor Night Vision Motion Detection into my 2006 Ford Focus. I cut the red clamp off and wired the red wire into an Add-A-Circuit Mini Blade Fuse Holder 20amp Red that I plugged into the circuit for the rear windscreen wiper - this circuit only comes on with the ignition so the dashcam comes on automatically when you start the car. The remaining black clamp is then perfect for earthing to the chassis. Then you can just plug your dashcam's standard cable into the socket on the end of the clamps and you're done. Works well.

Handy item that works as described!
Swift delivery and works as it should to run a small 12 volt compressor off a car battery on a friend's caravan to bring the tyres up to the correct pressure.

Affordable and Flexible Adaptor.
I have bought three of these over time. I use one directly across my leisure battery in my tent to connect to my CPAP power supply. I have another one permanently clipped on under the bonnet across my car battery to hook up lights and power the 12v airbed pump when camping - bypasses the ignition and much simpler than fiddling around under the noise insulation to find the negative terminal (just don't forget to disconnect before driving off). Regular size and compatible with all my 12v cigarette socket plugs - reasonably tight fit - the plug and springs is more important in making a snug fit. Never noticed any undue heating etc. Useful to have to hand.

It lit up my life
I bought a shower that plugs into the cigarette lighter in the car last year - just incase my shower packed up. I need my shower :-)This excellent little device allowed me to plug into a spare battery I shelved near the bathroom and although I didn't need the shower I was grateful for a 'spare.'I was also able to pop in a light and a few other little items now and then and it worked brilliantly. I was dubious at first, but it did the job surprisingly well and is a gadget I would replace in future and am glad I have now. You'd be surprised how many gadgets use a cigarette lighter in a Motorhome (a posh title for my Campervan) such as lights and chargers and at less than £5, I'm well chuffed with mine.
