Sturdy, comfortable and cool
I bought them for long off-road walks on holiday - they felt very sturdy but still much cooler than my walking shoes - I did quite a bit of walking in Corfu in them and they proved to be comfortable from day 1 - would recommend

Good quality
Good quality walking sandal which looks and feels really robust, like it will be very durable. Supremely comfortable and lightweight once you have got it on, with an easy drawstring to set the tightness. I have only given four stars due to the fact these feels a little tight, I would have gone one size larger had I realised, but I already have another pair of Keen summer walking shoes and these were on the generous side, so felt confident buying my own size 11. Another minus point is they are very hard to get on, as the rear ankle strap is not very elastic; these would certainly benefit from some means of adjustment, though I stress that once they are on your feet, they are very comfortable. These are good for moderately rough terrain and have already used them for several full day outings without any problem, proving to give good protection, while also being very flexible and giving good grip on all surfaces.

Keen shoes
The product is excellent and I've found them very comfortable, they are not the best looking, but more than make up for this in the comfort department. I'm considering buying another pair of a different colour.

Buy your shoe size I did 11Uk 46Eu
Size 11 Snug but not tight, these shoes do give as the laces are elasticated and at 74 yrs old I have got lumpy feet. This is my second pair in the last 2 years as I keep one pair for best and the other pair for walking, cycling and everything. Not pricey if you ask for Amazon vouchers for Christmas, birthdays etc. Buy a pair you won’t regret it.

... to get them on but once on they are comfortable to walk in whether on hard
Can be an effort to get them on but once on they are comfortable to walk in whether on hard, loose or softer surfaces. I usually buy a shoe size 10.5 or 11 depending on the fit so went for an 11: this is only just big enough without socks! Time will tell whether they stretch though.

The size it's a little too small
I wore a pair of Newport H2 sandals for about 10 years before I decided to order another pair, even if the old ones are still in acceptable shape. Great performance seeing that I used them on dry and wet for trekking, fly-fishing and so on. The previous pair was size EU 45. Now I ordered EU 46, willing to have them a little bit wider, my foot getting also old. It's not the case, unfortunately. Despite being a bigger number, the new ones are even narrower than the other pair. I know that it's needed a period of time until the new materials will accommodate, but still, at the end I have doubts that I'll got the required larger fit. In the best scenario, I'll get the same fit as the old smaller pair.

Sizing
I have been a fan for years. I ordered a size US12 Men, received the pair and tried them on - too short. Thinking I didn't order correctly, I lined them up with my old Keen sandals. Low and behold, the size 12 purchased and the current size 12 pair slated for retirement are not the same length. Believe it or not, I used the old Keen box for photo storage (yeah, I'm one of those!). Old box says Size 12! Therefore, not my imagination. It appears that Keen doesn't produce a size 12.5 and may have to try a 13.So, this is not a complaint, just a heads up to those getting a pair. Only frustration is having to do the whole return, repurchase as the summer wanes.

Too small
I like how rugged Keens feel, but they are too tight on my feet. They are smaller than other shoes of the same size. I had to return them.

These are great Sandals
Only one problem is getting the size right, I went up a size but still didn't fi, too tight. I have size 11 and bought size 12 but I cant even get them on without a struggle. I have returned them and tried to order a larger size but they had no stock. I have bought these sandals for the last 15 years and now they are different much smaller then before , oh well will wait and order larger ones and see.

Size 12 is a tight fit
I’m sure these sandals would be quite comfortable—they have excellent arch support—but they are almost sized small, as the 12s take some effort to put on. Ordered a size 13; thanks to Amazon’s quick delivery they’ll be here tomorrow.

Mine feels shorter then a 12
I'm normally a size 12, but I find the sandal was tough to get on. A buddy of mine who recommended me the product has the same shoe & size that I do. He even thought his shoe was a a little bigger. He thought i was full full of it when i had to struggle to get the sandal on. So he tried to put mine on & he had the same issue I had. The sandal itself says size 12 on it. So he figured i may have ordered a womens size by mistake, when I showed him my order it was a men's. I don't know why mine feels tight at the back. Cause his wasn't bad when I tried his pair on. Once the sandal is on it's comfortable, but man it sucks it's a pain to get on. I should have done a size to size comparison with his sandal in the picture. But I never thought of it while we were at Waterpark that day. For what it's worth here is a picture beside a pair of size 12 running shoes I have.
