Goodbye to midnight slug hunting! So...have tried everything to stop slugs eating our hostas - out in the pitch black picking them up and disposing of- beer traps - growing sacrificial plants nearby - salt - lettuce leaves scattered at base of pots but they still managed to get in and munch holes in the hostas. Ve waited over 2 months to write a review so I could know for sure it works and not a single hole in leaves since using this - it's an amazing product and looks good on pots too. Dony hesitate to buy. It is a little fiddly to apply as it's quite thin - but once you get the hang of it - it's easy. Have done 6 pots with it and I'm so happy no more slug problem.

This is in use on large outside plastic pots. Quite hard to apply neatly but sticks well and appears to be keeping the slugs away

I used this to protect several planters from slug invasion. Seems to have worked well and better value for money compared with similar branded products. Tape was wide and thick enough to apply easily/be effective. Adhered to both plastic and wood. Has survived being outdoors for several months despite rain and wind. Staring to age now so less shiny but still effective.

This is great quality stuff, I am genuinely really impressed. I am using it in the garden as a snail deterrent ( do not know if it works for that purpose at the mo) Quality wise its great, there is absolutely loads of it and its easy to apply. NOTE keep the backing on! Just stick the end down and gradually peal the backing off as you apply it, as it is very sticky and springy and if you peel it all off in one go it will stick to itself and that will be the end of that.

Great product, I have a huge slug and snail problem in my garden so I keep all my veg and flowers in pots with this copper tape at the top. I noticed slugs prefer some flowers better than others, so keep your eye on them because you may need to put a double layer of copper tape, this definitely keeps them out. With 1 layer of tape I noticed a huge slug had gone over the tape and eat my flower while 2 slugs were waiting under the copper tape but would not go past. So after I doubled the tape I have not noticed a single slug on this particular flower. So now when I transfer my veg or flowers into new pots, they get the copper tape. There is a lot on this roll too. I’m an organic gardener and have a cat so I cannot use slug pellets, this is perfect.

It is reasonable tape, and is what it is. It tore quite easily unfortunately, but that was not the end of the world. What is disappointing is that the adhesion does not last. If you, like me, are wishing to use this as a slug barrier, the beware that after the first rains, it falls off as soon as it dries.

A wee bit tricky to peel off the correct length without it sticking to itself so do several shorter lengths rather than a long length. It is quite thin, which I think is good as it can be pressed down quite firmly onto the contours of whatever surface you are sticking it to, which helps it stick. It works well and looks quite nice too. I have mine around a wooden raised bed and nothing seems to have crossed it to eat my veg 4 weeks later. good value as you are supplied with a large length.

I only got it to deter slugs and I have found that they certainly don't like it. Slugs were helping themselves to my hedgehog food so I covered a plate with the tape and placed the bowl with food in on top. I did find two slugs on the plate , one big one that did not look at all happy and a smaller which was dead , presumably killed by going onto the tape somehow. Used for several weeks and had no other problems with slugs. Tape remained ( and still is) stuck to plate despite being drenched in rain numerous times. Good stuff but quite expensive although have saved on hedgehog food

Används som skydd mot "mördarsniglar" vilket den verkar fungera mot så jag är nöjd!
