This is a lovely little travel tripod that's nice and light but really stable considering the price , build quality is top notch also so if your looking for a cheaper alternative to the more famous brands this is definitely one to consider .I've been a photographer for over 45 years so have seen many tripods pass through my hands and do now stick to manfrotto and slik as a rule but the need for a smaller tripod for travel and my MTF outfit meant the search began . The reviews on this one led me into getting one just to see and to be honest I'm blown away by how good it is , even the ball head is smooth which is very rare in cheaper units . The one change I've made is to fit a manfrotto 323 quick realise adapter unit to the head to keep it compatible with all my quick release plates from my other tripods so I can say that unit fits straight onto the arca Swiss style plate no problems at all and then this tripods up there with the befree range on quality and user friendliness . So all in all this is basically a no brainer and I'm sure you'd never find a better mid sized tripod for this price and I'd recommended it without hesitation to anyone . My advice to all you olympus , Lumix and fujifilm owners out there , this is your perfect tripod and at £50 can you afford not to own one ? The manfrotto 323_adapter improves it but does double the cost nearly so even thats not required if your not already a 200pl plate user because the supplied heads a belter !

The first thing that hit me when I opened the box was the quality of the bag this baby comes in. real good quality nylon padded construction, sturdy zipper and a 'just-adjustable-enough' strap for a shoulder sling bag. No room inside for anything but the tripod, and no external pockets, but at this price point I wasn't expecting it to be as decent as this.The second thing that struck me was the name 'TYCKA' on the bag, as I thought I was buying a 'Rangers' tripod. Nowhere in the product description is the name Tycka mentioned, which is a bit naughty as it prevents you from researching that specific manufacturer for quality of tripod and overall user opinion. Opening the bag confirms, by way of the small instruction book, that this is indeed a Tycka Rangers tripod. There's an identical tripod to this one if you search Tycka Tripod, apart from it being £2 cheaper. Not a lot, but every little helps and I would have appreciated the chance to choose...OK, that moan out of the way, what you get is a really pretty decent and solid little tripod for less than £50. Foam-style head protector for use while travelling, good weight to the legs but I wouldn't want to risk anything like 12Kg on it with them fully extended (not even half that to be honest). Sprung weight hook so you can hang your backpack for extra stability, something missing on many of the cheaper travel tripods. Also, the ball head has a couple of spirit levels (only small bubble type) which again is something missing from many of these kinds of tripod. The head itself is pretty smooth when transitioning, and locks nice and solid with my Lumix FZ330 in place even with the zoom maxed out and a video light/mic combo in place (total weight about 2Kg I reckon). Quick release plate included, ball head is removable. Remarkable value really.I haven't tried the monopod, as I see these things more as a gimmick than anything (your mileage may vary) but others seem happy with it.Best of all though is that it collapses down to just 14" and weighs in at less than 3lbs, making it great for cabin-friendly travel. Worth mentioning that as this doesn't have spiked feet, it's more likely to be accepted by airport security as a cabin item (they sometimes get a bit over-zealous and prohibit a tripod with spiked feet as being 'a weapon' so I have heard from my journalist colleagues).

Despite being described as a 'Rangers' product, the tripod is actually Tycka branded. Anyway, I expected that, having read other reviews. After much searching for a tripod with these dimensions and features, this appeared to offer the best value. Despite the very compact size, when packed down, the maximum working height is just adequate for me. I am 173cm tall, and only need to bend my knees a little, to look through my camera's viewfinder. To me, that's a price worth paying for its compact size. Even at maximum height, it is sturdy enough for all conditions except for long exposures in strong winds. Pros and cons:PROS:Highly versatile design.Packs down to an extra compact size.It is sturdy enough for all conditions except for long exposures in strong winds.The all-metal ball head is very good indeed, with metal knobs, a vernier adjustment, and smooth panning.A decent padded bag was included. Sadly the strap is too short, even for a tiny midget, so will need modifying.A belt holster was also supplied.The supplementary short post is a great addition to the kit.Aesthetically pleasing, with its gold trim.CONS:At 1.33 kg, it's heavy; heavier than it needs to be. The weight suggests something other than aluminium.The extension locks on the legs worry me; the action seems too easy. I wonder how long they will grip for.The strap on the bag is only long enough for the tiniest midget.

Amazon Prime una pasada con su envío de menos de 1 dia. Pedí el trípode esta mañana y me ha llegado justo para grabar un timelapse del anochecer. Un lujo.Las primeras impresiones del trípode son buenas. El material es aluminio, no fibra de carbono, pero se pliega de una forma ultracompacta y la diferencia irrisoria de peso no me justificaba la diferencia de precio. Además en trípodes un poco más de peso significa estabilidad añadida en situación de viento o terreno movedizo (arena, barro...).El cabezal es de bola. Muy fluido en todos sus ejes con 3 diales que controlan la resistencia. Servirá para hacer ajustes finos en fotografía y en aplicaciones limitadas para video. Lo veo muy capaz de hacer pans suaves aunque puedes sacrificar el bulto añadido del agarre típico de video que viene desmontado.El trípode en sí es estable, de buena calidad y no tiene pinta de degradarse facilmente. El cuerpo principal es de aluminio al completo excepto la goma de las patas y el agarre de espuma.Es convertible a monopod y reversible. Además las patas tienen un sistema de bloqueo bastante intuotivo y poco intrusivo.Recomiendo familiarizarse con los rudimentos básicos se cualquier trípode o soporte antes de poner miles de euros de cámara encima, aunque en este caso todo funciona fluida y intuitivamente.Enfundado cabrá en la mayoría de mochilas y maletas de equipaje de mano.Como extra viene con una funda para el trípode en sí y una cobertura para el cabezal además de una funda con accesorios o para colgar algo de peso en la base si hace viento.Por el precio que he pagado un excelente producto y un excelente servicio de Amazon. Dentro de unos días lo llevaré a la montaña y a ver qué tal se porta en entornos naturales.

Nachdem ich mir ein sehr günstiges Stativ (um die 20Euro) aus Kunststoff gekauft hatte und sehr schnell zum Entschluss kam, das es für das Fotografieren nichts ist, musste natürlich ein viel besseres Stativ her.Nach stundenlangem recherchieren nach "günstigen aber guten" Stativen für DSLR Kameras, stieß ich auf das Rangers 57" Stativ um die ca.70€Die Traglast von 12kg hat mir hier schon imponiert. Für mich hieß das, dass die Materialen hochwertig sein müssten.Ich hab mir das Ding bestellt um es mir anzusehen - zurückschicken kann ich es ja auch, dachte ich mir.Als das Stativ ankam war ich überrascht und das sehr Positiv.Die Mechaniken sind sehr gut verarbeitet und gehen nicht zu leicht. Das ist wichtig damit da auch nichts klappert.Die Passform der Teleskopstange tadellos, da wackelt nichts. Bis auf die Klapperschlüsse (um die Beine zu fixieren, was absolut kein Problem ist), besteht das Stativ Ausnahmslos aus Eloxiertem Aluminium in bester Qualität.Der Kugelkopf arbeitet ebenfalls 1A. Der 360° Schwenkkopf geht sehr smooth und sehr stabil, wenn man mal Videos machen möchte. Hier ebenfalls alles aus Aluminium. Stabiler geht es nicht. Die Klemmgriffe sind weder zu klein noch zu gross man gewöhnt sich schnell daran.Da ich Teilweise von sehr Tiefen Perspektiven bis zu Portrait-Höhen arbeiten möchte, erlaubt mir dieses Stativ alle Möglichkeiten.Es passt natürlich auch perfekt in die Mitgelieferte Tasche mit Umhängegurt.Meine billiges erstgekaufte Stativ nutze ich Übrigens als Blitzstativ, dafür eignet sich das ideal.Klare Kaufempfehlung für jemanden der ein Stativ unter 100Euro sucht.Hammer Qualität für einen Spitzenpreis!

Le finiture in gomma sono ben realizzate con gomma e plastiche di qualità.I sistemi di regolazione della testa sono fluidi e non presentano impuntamenti.La regolazione delle gambe con il sistema flip lock è migliore secondo me del sistema con chiusura a vite, permettendo posizionamenti e regolazioni più rapide e più precise. L’annosa questione quale sia il sistema di chiusura migliore nel tempo, se flipck lock o chiusura a vite, non è elemento di discussione in questa recensione che vuole analizzare il sistema flip lock di questo treppiede che è ben realizzata e conferisce una buona stabilità.Una volta richiuso e messo all’ interno della sua custodia, grazie al peso e dimensioni contenute può essere trasportato agevolmente.La presenza delle “molle” per la messa in bolla su varie parti del tripod la trovo inutile, in quanto poco pratiche con le cam moderne che hanno sistemi di “livella elettronica” molto più chiari nella lettura ed affidabili.La parte centrale su cui è avvitata la testa a sfera offre una ulteriore regolazione in altezza e può essere girata, permettendo di agganciare la fotocamera nella parte inferiore del treppiede, all’interno delle spazio delimitato dalle gambe, soluzione indispensabile per la macrofotografia di elementi naturali (fiori, insetti, etc).______________________________________________________________________________►►LA PROVA ◄◄Ho testato questo tripod in una uscita notturna per vedere come si comportava con le lunghe esposizioni, che ritengo uno dei sistemi più affidabili per valutare la stabilità.Il treppiede è risultato molto stabile per essere un treppiede trasportabile, non ho avuto problemi di micromosso anche con esposizioni di 3 minuti in condizioni leggermente ventose. Testato con un zoom 50/300 ed il classico 18/55. Il test più severo era quello con il 50/300 che essendo abbastanza lungo, esercita un peso a sbalzo. Reputo la stabilità buona non avendo neanche avuto la necessità di zavorrare il treppiede.______________________________________________________________________________►►CONCLUSIONI ◄◄La stabilità, elemento principale per valutare un treppiede, di questo treppiede è buona, considerando che potete sfruttarlo anche per attrezzatura enthusiast e pro, potendo reggere fino a 12Kg. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è assolutamente interessante. La stabilità si riduce con l’aumento dell’ estensione delle gambe telescopiche. Naturalmente un Manfrotto da 300 euro ha altre caratteristiche, ma questo treppiede non sfigura, anzi tutt’altro, anche con le soluzioni di marchi più blasonati e costosi.Le numerosi possibilità di configurazione del treppiede, lo rendono uno strumento alla round per chi fa fotografia naturalistica, macro o still life, uno strumento per la fotografia alla round che abbina ad un costo contenuto una buona stabilità e possibilità di numerosi configurazioni. Reputo l’indicazione dei 12 Kg come peso supportato eccessiva, perché la stabilità ne risulterebbe compromessa; una indicazione di 8/9 Kg è più realistica quando si voglia valutare anche la stabilità nelle lunghe esposizioni in condizioni outdoor, spesso contraddistinte da venti e condizioni non ideali di appoggio.PRORegolazioniLeggerezzaFacilità d’usoStabilitàCONTROUn reale contro non riesco a trovarlo. Das Rangers Kamera Stativ aus Aluminium hat mich positiv überrascht. Für einen eher günstigeren Preis bietet es eine solide Stabilität und erfüllt alle Anforderungen, die ich an ein Stativ habe. Mit einer Höhe von 141cm ist es zudem flexibel für verschiedene Aufnahmesituationen einsetzbar. Wer nach einem preiswerten, aber dennoch zuverlässigen Stativ sucht, wird mit diesem Modell sicherlich zufrieden sein. Es steht wortwörtlich "in Ordnung"!
