Q: From the 298 reviews there are more 5 & 4 stars than 1 & 2 .. how can there be such different experiences?

I dont know which reviews are real or fake. I used the Scaraway for about 2 years. I wished it worked for me, but it did not. Who want ugly keloid? It stopped the itching while you wear the patch, but the itching comes back when you take it off. It did not stop the keloid growing. I went to the dermatologist tried the steroid shots. Fortunately it worked for me after 4-5 shots. It flattened the keloid but you still can see the ugly red mark. No more itching.

Q: All the reviews have been for scars that are 2-3 years old. My scar is a highschool bike accident 12 yrs old. Will Scaraway help?

It depends on what type of scar it is. I have two keloid scars on my shoulder that ScarAway originally helped but after I had finished with 3 boxes. the scars returned to their previous prominence because I stopped using the product. I did not expect the scars to return but, unfortunately, they did. These scars are several years old now and it looks like they will need plastic surgery since this product and several others did not work.

Q: How long I could use for one piece?

You can rinse with soap and water and reuse a piece for about one week. After 1 day, you'll likely need to use tape or sports wrap to keep it on your skin. If you have a lot of hair, you may want to trim, shave, or wax around your scar so that it sticks better. The packaging states that you should keep the piece on your skin at least 12 hours a day.

How long are you supposed to keep this on a day? I want to get rid of a bump from my nose piercing, so only want to wear it at night

Good for healing and itch prevention

These scar sheets made a huge difference to my comfort and healing following a knee replacement operation. Vital and soothing for the itchy phase of healing and the light pressure made sure that keloid scaring didn’t happen. I wore the patches for two months, very useful.

Really great silicone tape, stayed in place easily for 10 days with great effect to 3 recent scars from surgery.Only downside is the price, marked down as it is expensive.

Very disappointed

Not good. Difficult to apply and the sheets roll up as soon as the liner is removed. Last10 days? Barely lasted a few hours and no way are they water resistant as claimed.

Okay for during the day, but won't reduce scars very much

These didn't do much for me. Silicone scar gel and massage was much more effective for me.

Did not see any noticeable results .... Sad

So I made the purchase after seeing several top dermatologists recommend this particular brand for scarring, following having major surgery. I had a full hysterectomy so had several incisions around the tummy area that I wanted to improve if possible. After following instructions & completing the box, I have to say no noticeable difference could be seen. I paid an awful lot to experience zero changes, so cannot personally recommend. I also found cutting them to size if needed was also not easy, as they would just become a sticky mess against the scissors & then not lie flat. Meaning I would have to use more, rather than cut them
