Seems ideal - and great value for money - but let's wait and see if it rusts or deteriorates.....
I looked really hard for a suitable rack for our shower. We've had a special walk-in cubical built with nice ceramic tiles that look as if they are timber, and we didn't want to ever drill or hide them, plus I don't like "compromise" engineering like suckers that might suddenly fail and fall off (and anyhow look terrible in my opinion) or those clever but also quite ugly extendable poles that jam between the floor and ceiling.Conceptually either a really attractive free standing rack (but of perfect dimensions) or a rack that hooks over the glass was just what I wanted. The two outside hooks could be useful too but only for lightweight things other wise it can spoil the balance .....HOWEVER, it also has to work and not in any way risk damaging the glass!!!This seems to be about right. The design, shape and size is great.A lot of reviews mention the thing going rusty quite quickly and that certainly worried me. I'm hoping this one won't but if it does I'll update my review and knock one or two stars off depending on how quickly and how badly it deteriorates. for this price if it lasts a year or two then needs replacing I'll just about forgive it, but less than a year I won't and less than a month I'll return it!My feeling is that it should NOT be in a so-called "zone 1" area, i.e. right over a bath or under a shower where it gets really wet. As you can see from the photos I've uploaded for you, we have ours in a "zone 2" area that's within a meter of the source of water but should only get a bit of steam on it and not direct water. I expect that the tiniest weakness in the chrome coating is where the water gets in and start to cause damage. If the chrome is undamaged and properly applied it should be ok, certainly as we are using it.I wasn't that impressed with the rather mean and short length of plastic tubing to clip over the metal to protect the glass. It actually needs three lengths, not two, or at least I felt it did, because of the way it hangs over the glass and where it comes into contact. Please see my photo which I've annotated, "1", "2", and "3". To make the middle one I had to cut a bit of the bottom one. the top one needs to be a bit longer to go right over the top of the glass (most important, I think) and again it doesn't quite work perfectly at first when you do that but will eventually "deform" to curve nicely.Anyhow, fingers crossed it doesn't rust or deteriorate too fast!
A**!
Brilliant!
Having recently picked up a cheaper version of one of these (and a lot smaller) from a store in town, I decided I actually wanted to up-size to a higher quality one, as I was having to cram the bottles in. The cheaper one I bought was only a quick fix until I found a better one, and I guess very soon it would have rusted! This seemed to fit the bill perfectly as we have a very tall glass shower cubicle. It hangs down to about half-way which is just the prefect reaching height, and It doesn't get in the way of shower time at all. My husband has a bad back and I have bad knees, so bending down all the time to pick up bottles was literally a pain. Another downside to having bottles on the floor of the cubicle it looks messy; and also water collects behind them and results in the sealant getting mouldy over time. This arrived in a huge box, and the courier found it amusing that there was hardly any weight to it. I can say it was definitely packaged well, lots of inner scrunched up brown paper to secure it through transit. Anyway, I have just hung this shower tidy up and it is great! I have got so much in it, with space still left over for more. I like the fact it has the silicone hanging protectors to avoid the glass getting damaged, and also it secures it in place with having that feature. Also the hooks that hang over the outside of the shower cubicle seem a good handy extra touch for towels, although we are very unlikely to use this as we have a heated chrome towel rail - in better reach for when getting out of the shower. This product looks very smart and of high quality and I am very pleased with my purchase - next-day delivery too (with prime).

The best design of shower tidy I've ever seen
This is the very best design of shower tidy I've seen. It's clearly been designed by someone who takes showers! (some designs I've seen don't seem to have been!)The proportions are intelligently applied to comfortably allow room for probably 4-5 shampoo bottles, conditioner bottles, face washes, shower gels, etc in each of the two upper racks and the shallow lower one is perfect for "flatter" things like a cake of soap or flat sponges (we get two sponges in there easily). The rails around the racks are high enough to stop things falling off/out, but low enough so you can easily take the bottle out/return it to the rack without much effort. I've found that the rails are also the perfect front-to-back depth for resting a sponge on so it's surrounded by air and dries out more quickly. There are two hooks at the bottom inside the shower for soap-on-a-rope (!) or one of those round "buffing" sponge things, or anything else that has a loop attached. The two hooks that hang outside the cubicle are handy extras for towels, light dressing gowns, or we even used to hang a shower radio from them at one point. The arms that hang over the top of the cubicle also have transparent rubber protectors over them so the shower tidy won't scratch the top of the glass/metal.The metal's good quality and while it will need a clean once a year to get unavoidable soap residue etc off it, and looked after they last a good few years (8 at a guess) before the metal starts to corrode badly and you need to replace it (I've bought this design before, and I'll be buying the same again in about 8 years!).
