Please can anyone tell me, did this used to be called Golden Oil, as demonstrated on QVC UK TV by a guest presenter called Howard?

Hi Happy Jill - This is an American product by Howard Products ( est. 1967) it is NOT the one that used to be on QVC. It is however a high quality polish with no silicone, leaves no sticky residue and it revives and brings out the wood grain. It smells really lovely too. Hi, Sorry for the delay in answering. Ingredients include Chemical name Distillates (petroleum), hydrotreated heavy paraffinic. 65-85* Distillates (petroleum), light hydrotreated. Oils, orange, sweet. Not to be Swallowed.

Will this product cover scratches in wood?

Hi, Orange Oil will nourish wood but it won't cover scratches.

Does it help light scratches to oak & other wood?

It will depend how light the scratches are and how light the wood is in colour. More of a cleaner and 'preservative' than a cover -up...I think.
