Ultimate Book of Family Card Games

I wanted to play some card games as a family since a pack of cards is so versatile and easy to take with you anywhere. However, when we tried playing as a family, we argued over the rules and different websites have different rules. So I bought this book and it's brilliant. The games are explained clearly and the rules laid out so we can just enjoy playing card games together instead of arguing about the rules! I would highly recommend this book. There are lots of different card games and they are organised well in the book.

This book is great to remind you how to play card games you have forgotten and how to learn completely new ones.It is graded by difficulty and type of games - suits/number of players etcThe instructions are lengthy when needed but easy to follow and understand.We simply started at the beginning of the book and are working our way through.Most games we love, one or two aren't to our taste but who cares there are so many to choose from.You will easily find a few games to entertain all ages and abilities within this book.

The book is very easy to read, with a large font, unlike many of these types of book that much smaller anddifficult to readThe instructions are very clear. I recommend this book, which we have had for 18 months now.We often take it to the pub when we got out for lunch,i t keeps the kids quiet

We were VERY disappointed to discover that The Ultimate Book of Family Card Games, does not include CANASTA. We discovered this too late. Most simple games like SNAP, CHASE the ACE etc are covered...!!!!

Explanations easy to follow, with level of difficulty set out clearly. There were many games I didn't know, and some which go by different names or vary slightly in their rules. A great family book.

A fantastic book. Playing new games and some rows over the rules of other games have been resolved. Fantastic fun for all the family

Good book, bought as a gift and so no real feedback on content.

Instead of sitting in front of the box each night we started playing card games as a family. However, having memories like melons we couldnt remember some of the games we played when we were young. This book is easy to follow and contains most of the games we played and many more. Great fun.
