Great message and practical application process
In my job we are actually building a leadership and culture course right now. I found this book very useful and plan on referencing several key points made here. I would recommend this book to anyone starting off in leadership. One side note: please do a re-edit. There’s about a dozen misspellings or missing words throughout the book.

Sensible and Practical
I've had several "careers" in my lifetime, and this book makes a lot of sense. In past jobs, whenever I felt frustrated, disappointed, upset, or even overwhelmed enough to leave the job, I always had a general sense of why [e.g. "there's too much stress", "why won't people listen to my ideas?", "why am I working harder than him?", or "they don't pay me enough"]. This book is great in specifically identifying those situations and, best of all, providing guidance on how to avoid or rectify them. In other words, this book has put in to words what I have always thought I knew (but didn't) in the past. Now with my own business, I hope to rise to the occasion and will use this book as my prime resource.

Easy Read w/ Huge Information
The media could not be loaded. Review Update: I’m opening a second box, I’d ordered another copy because I gave mine away after reading and wanted to replace. THEN I found a hard bound version…. Now for an autograph!First let me explain my extreme ADHD and that I haven’t been able to read through a book in longer than I care to admit! This was quite an easy read, so well assembled. For a guy like me, having resources and checklists throughout boosted the credibility of the information further. Strange point, but true!I think I’ve worked for or been every example in here throughout a portion of my career. Y’all about hitting home. Imposter syndrome will forever be noticed as that one has burned me a time or two!Fantastic book, well written & looking forward to more coming??Update, I got the kindle version already and grabbed the paperback as soon as it released! And it arrived the next morning. Love it!

It takes you on a journey...
A really insightful book and one which any manager who has inspirations to become a good leader would benefit from reading. It is an easy read and takes a matter of fact way of getting points across. As someone who has spent the last 15 years focusing on leadership and culture change, I found that this book hits the key facets very well.It gives an inspiring leader much to reflect on so they can focus on how they can improve themselves and their leadership style. It goes into aspects which are very important, that you generally don't find in other leadership books around growing self awareness, whilst providing very useful pointers to help you develop these skills.I haven't finished reading the book, but from what I've seen so far, I'm looking forward to reading the rest.Well done on putting together a fabulous leadership resource.
