These boots are CUTE!! The toe box is roomy - even for someone with wide feet. The boot is designed so it has a boxy toe box! This boot is comfy and looks cute with jeans and skirts. They are well made with quality leather and the heel is a perfect height. I'm not sure I'd wear them to the barn as the boot details would get very dirty. Overall I love these boots!

I have looked at this brand for a long time and finally got sone- worth the money. Comfortable and attractive! Lots of compliments. Needed very little break in time. Do not need the same comfort inserts I put in my other shoes.

Great boots. Nicely crafted. I’ve never bought the shortened boot like these. Will be great for riding this summer. I ride in shorts a lot. Should be cooler. But I personally prefer the Gypsy’s.

Okay so let's just clear something up.. these boots do run true to size! There are so many mixed reviews that made picking a size complicated, I am typically a 9.5 and that size fits great! I ordered the russet rebel fatbaby and the color is awesome, a warm medium brown with a black chunky heel! In My opinion they look like a western/ doc marten mix so they have a different look to them, in a good way. As soon as the shipment arrived I put them on and they are so comfy out of the box, no break in time required! I'm a hairdresser and wore them to work for several hours with no problem. I got asked several times where I got these, which of course made them more amazing. Trust me and buy them!

I love Fatbaby boots by Ariat. They are beautiful, nicely crafted, and they feel amazing on your feet from the first time you slip them on. Toe/heel area feels loose and they fit through the arch, for me (kind of like Dansko clogs). I wear a 9M if a shoe fits "true to size" - and these definitely are true to size. They really "fit" and don't drag in the heels when I'm walking around. I can wear them all day and feel great. I love the brown leather, almost saddle-shoe like detailing, and the fat little round toes look so cute under jeans. This is my second pair... when my first pair is still practically new; I couldn't resist getting another! Put these on your wishlist and watch for price drops. I got mine for a steal - under $75! These boots are so cute and so comfortable. The footbed is very supportive and even though I often wear orthotics, I think they would be comfortable without them. I wear a 9 medium and the length and width were true to size. There was plenty of room in the toe box and the heel was a comfortable height. My only issue is, being on the shorter side, with large calves, I found the boot shaft to be very stiff and the top of the boot rubbed against my calf. I don't think they would have ever broken in and I did not want my calf to be rubbed raw. So I returned them. Now I need to find a sad cowgirl song to sing.

Once my feet are in the boot, they feel good. The problem is it is much too difficult to slip my foot in them. Where the foot leather is sewn to the ankle and upper leg leather, the boot curves inward slightly at the too tight stitch line. I’m a senior and didn’t expect it to be a hard resistance work out just to get my boots on. I dread winter cause a cold boot will make it near impossible to put them on. I have thin feet and thin ankles too, but I have to use extremely thin socks for these.

Purchased for grand daughter for her 12th birthday. Made her day. She loves them. Fit as expected. We were lucky enough to have a same brand pair for her to try prior to ordering. Color and design is gorgeous. Would definitely order again.

Ariat makes an awesome boot. I’m expecting to have these for years. May buy another pair before they disappear in my size.

Every thing about the boot is great,we live in the UK they came from America, quickly.They look great. Would use Amazon America again.
