Q: Hi Has anyone had any experience using this sealer on indian sandstone? Does it stain or cause discolouration?Thanks

I use it on Indian stone patio. No it doesn't stain it, It makes the colours stand out more. If you look at the colour of the stone when it's wet it makes it look a bit like that. Great product we use it all the time. Hope this helps.

Q: Is this product one coat?

I bought four 5 litre tins of this product and used it to seal three patios, measuring around 3.5 x 3.5 metres plus a long garden path, which measures 29 metres by 2 metres. I made certain that it wasn't going to rain that day! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! I applied one coat to the pathways and it looks great. It does darken the colour of the flag stones but it really enhances any pattern within the stone. On the feature patio, which cost much more than the other two, I applied two coats. The first coat I applied with a 6" brush as I wanted to make sure that all the deeper engraved parts of the pattern were coated. This didn't take long, maybe an hour. I let that dry for 3 hours then applied a second coat with a 9" roller on a pole, (that's by far the easiest way to do this job). The wet look finish is what I wanted because it certainly brings out or enhances the pattern in the stone. Finished patio looks fantastic - I'm really pleased!

Q: can this product be used on external brick walls?

No it's patio & block paving specific. Silicone based brick sealant is for external walls.

Q: How long does the wet look last

Used mine over 2 years ago and the shine hasn't deteriorated.
