My Little Pony Happy Birthday Scene Edible Wafer Paper Cake Toppers

They looked great on the cake but took a while to decorate as they kept falling over and no flavour at all they were like cardboard!

Colours were not great and really difficult to cut out

Lots of ponies, butterflies and trees to make a lovely scene. I bought a 7 Inch pony which stood at the back and I put the happy birthday rainbow around the front of the cake. Downside you have to cut then out,time consuming and fiddly, and fairly flimsy but I solved this by making little slits in the cake and pushing them in and making the frosting quite deep for support and they stayed put. I used normal vanilla frosting (from poumdland) and some green edible glitter (2 for a pound in poundland) and made it look like sparkly grass on the top,with little tiny sugar flowers also from poundland on top too. Even the cake mix came from there so with the cost of the ponies added on it still made a great value cake which my daughter loved and her friends were amazed. Make sure you pre cut the ponies and decorations out beforehand as I didn't and it took longer than I thought but a great product and fast delivery.

I really liked these, the picture was clear, good quality and looked great on the cake. They would be a little better if they could come either pre-cut or be the type you could pop out of the bigger sheet. It was very fiddly to cut them all out.

It’s ok but you would need to use a sharp knife or scalpel to cut it so it looks nice on the cake which is too much messing around. If you got the time to do that then it’s alright would not purchase again

cutting out the shapes was a bit tricky and I left it very late to realise that. However, it was quite easy, even for my unskilled hands, to replicate the image on the product. I used rolled royal icing and I think the model photo is buttercream. I just cut slits into the icing and left little feet on the bottom of each shape so they would stand up.

Good quality, although the colours could have been a little deeper. They were quite hard to cut out, but it was achievable. It would have been easier if they were slightly larger tho. They looked really good in the cake and lasted well. I was really pleased with the end result.... except for the rainbow that started to curl slightly after some hours in the air.All in all, a good product I would recommend that is good value.
