Best Overview of Most Important Con Law Cases Availabe
I wish this book had been around when I attended law school, it povides a great prep for reading these cases and then a great review before exams. Thoughtful, concise and balanced, every student will find this book a great addition to their library. As someone long removed from the study of all things legal, it has been a great refresher for areas of constitutinal law that I rarely cover or that has come up in recent news stories that I can barely dredge from my memory. It has become harder to find books of this quality that avoid the temptation to import the author's own legal slant on some of the more contentious cases.

A Thoroughly Engaging and In-Depth Study of Constitutional and Supreme Court History
I am so pleased with my purchase of this book. It wasn’t until well after college that I became increasingly interested in the Supreme Court itself and the Constitution accordingly. I have read several books on the Court recently (The Nine, The Brethren, The Supreme Court [Rosen], Dissent and the Supreme Court, and The Supreme Court [Rehnquist]). The Rehnquist volume is the best of those listed, IMO, but An Introduction to Constitution Law is my favorite.Easy enough for a layperson to follow but with so much substance and detail that it’s very similar to the subject matter taught in any ConLaw course at law school. And that is without the interactive features that are included with the purchase of this work. Slides, audio of Court arguments, and in-depth video commentary of each case provided by either Professor Blackman or Barnett takes it to another level by providing a variety of ways to absorb this information.I have been so engrossed by this material as well that I have taken to listening to multiple ConLaw class lectures that Professor Blackman has posted on YouTube. I even started listening to lectures from different years because even though the syllabus remains largely unchained, there is always new information to be gleaned from each.Very thankful to have found this work and these two professors.

False advertising. Not new not even good condition
Can not comment on the book itself but rather the condition in which it came. Books binding had been damaged and just taped back together. Other damage all across the top and front cover. This purchase was not suppose to be used or damaged by description.
