My son got this for his 10th birthday. He loves playing with it and loves how fast it goes! We like that it comes with two batteries so he can always play with it while another battery is on the charger.

We were looking at a remote control truck I bought for my grandson when my son began to wax nostalgic about his remote control cars from 20 years ago. We got a few out from under the house and powered them up with the huge number of batteries they took. They went 5 mph and used the batteries up in 5 minutes and steered like a rock. For fun, I ordered him this. This is NOT that kind of car! It is sturdy, easily controlled and very fast (40MPH). It pays no attention to the terrain you run it on and jumps far off a ramp. After the purchase, we read the positive reviews and concurred. He showed it to friend who are deeply involved in RC cars and they were impressed. This has led my son to purchase two additional, more sophisticated cars, but he still really likes this little guy. This is not a toy for a youngster.If it hits you at 40, it could do some serious damage. But for older kids and teens, this is an absolutely great starter car.

The media could not be loaded. This RC car is sick! It is very very fast and looks great too! The setup was a piece of cake and the versatility/movement is amazing. My little brother can use it very easily with no problems. The hard shell which is made out of plastic material had broken on us once, but it came with a spare so not to worry. The battery life is mediocre at best, it works for a good amount of time but very clearly dies out over no more than 30 minutes of consistent use. This product was so amazing that we had to buy two of these damn things. Take a look at the video!

I’ve had a blast with this little car. I finally broke an an arm, which I just received yesterday. It took a few weeks for the parts to show up. So, just know parts come from China and can take a while. That being said, the car actually showed up quickly. Everything is there for you to charge it and run it. It’s actually pretty damn durable. For me, the wait for parts is OK, because I have other RC cars. I upgraded to the 3S battery, and this thing moves.

FAST....just as described, great fun.. more than a toy, like a model and RC car , but faster and more responsive

This is an amazing Rc car. It is very fast and not that expensive. I would recommend it to anyone, adult or child.

Old post not altered. Added edit above old post. I bought the new shocks to replace the leaking ones. They are a half inch longer that the originals. Had to buy oil for them too. No leaks so far. :) A Biiig plus. It is a bit top heavy though and can wheelies very easy. I had to get 30w oil to help soften the springs. It was hard to turn when driving fast on the road. The ride height is maxed out but runs like a dream nonetheless. I put added some pics of the truck with the new springs so you can see how high it sits. It does drive and act differently but it's still fun to drive. Next will be the wheels to see how it changes when driving. I will be keeping an eye on the diffs to make sure they don't break.OLD POST: So I got one of these from watching a few youtubers bash these and talking them up so much. I've been looking for a little runner for a while now that wouldn't break on the first run. So I picked up one of these little rc's. Found an awesome deal on it. The car plus a 3S battery for almost 30$ less that buying them separately. It came in a few days later. Awesome. :)Pulled it out of the box and put it together. Set it down and something immediately seemed off. The truck suspension is a little soft so it squats a good deal. Ok no matter, It's for offroading. Charged the batteries up but had to wait like 3 or so days due to constant rain in our neck of the woods. Adj the wheel alignment. It was pretty bad. Then I noticed how much play the front steering had. Eh, It is, again, for offroading so whatever. Took it out and started to drive it around. Those 2s batteries make it pretty zippy. Very nice. Each battery lasted for about 20 which is almost triple what they said in the manual. Cool!So on the pavement and asphalt, the first thing I noticed it that it will not drive straight. Not matter what you do with the trim for the steering. Every little bump, divot, or lean in the road set it off. Not good, but what about off the road. It handles alright but its too bouncy and tends to flip. Alot. . . I lost all but 1 body clip and it cracked the tail end of the body shell on its first flip. I drove it up to me and checked it out. The oil filled shocks were leaking at the shafts because of how they were installed. It looks like the shocks are bent due to their installation. The shocks would fit better if they are a little longer. I put some heavier weight oil in them to slow the leaking.What about the S3 battery? Well I would say its awesome because of the little brushless setup. But no.This is also when I realized how bad the ESC is. It cogs alot at low speeds and does not respond to twitch triggers. What kills this setup the most is that you can pull the trigger and it will continue to accelerate for a half second after releasing the trigger. Not good at all.But yes, the 3s battery. It barely fits in the tray and the new battery clip makes it hard to plug the 2S batteries in without feeling like you are about to rip the wires out when trying to close the battery hold down. Hands down. This battery is too much for the car. The wheelie bar is not needed because the tires do not grip enough and it does burnouts when trying to accelerate quickly. You cannot control in on the gravel or dirt. As soon as it loses control, it just does 360's. It's kind of funny but not what you want for an offroader. Also, It destroyed the rear differential after about 10 mins on the bigger battery. I don't recommend the 3S battery upgrade.All in all, I don't recommend this RC. Get the 1/14 scale one from Hyper GO. It has a better build quality and 2 3S batteries that make it rip. I would return this if I could but there is too much damage done on the rc.
