This was a blind buy for me, I had not smelled this perfume before but I fancied trying something completely different. I love the smells of some of the perfumes the middle eastern women in my area wear and wanted to find something similar and not the same as everything else available in Boots or similar.Well, this certainly hits the spot!In the bottle the liquid is a deep amber colour. The bottle is small, with a rollerball applicator rather than a spray or dab. This works well because this is a strong scent - I thought it may be a little insipid as I am used to alcohol based carriers, but no worries here, this stuff is strong! And a 6ml bottle should last well as you only need a little, plus the small size makes it easy to pop in your bag if you are going out, although it lasts well so you probably won't need to reapply.I applied a small amount to my pulse points. This opens with a sort of rich, incense like woody smell, I don't really know how to describe it, it smells of incense, scented woods, a little smoky maybe and very exotic (to my nose). Over the next couple of hours this evolves, becoming slightly lighter, greener and sweeter, it does remind me very much of incense and the perfumes I smelled on the ladies nearby. After about 4 hours you are left with a sort of woody, soft, cool scent that lingers gently, you will catch wafts of this every now and again as you move around.I would say the small dabs to my pulse points was enough - any more would be overpowering, this is strong stuff. I could still faintly smell this on my skin the next morning, so longevity is great. It projects moderately but not overly so - you won't knock anyone out but will leave a gentle waft of deep, luscious scent as you pass. This isn't a spicy scent like opium, it is much more woody although the smokiness and incense tends to dissipate after the first couple of hours. There is a slight sweetness to it but more like honey or sap than candy sweet. I think men or women could wear this. And the price is great.Overall I am very happy with this and tempted to try some others from the range. The only downside really is how it came packaged - the box was turned inside out and cut, and the bottle sellotaped to the box, so if you were buying as a gift it would look rather tatty by the time you attempted to unstick it and put the box back together!

Decided to buy this perfume oil after reading all the positive reveiws. It arrived quickly a day later. Once i removed the cap the smell was very strong Oud scent, heavy and musky and my first thoughts were 'oh dear'! But after i applied it to my wrist and waited a few minutes it began to change almost immediately. The smell became very soft and powdery and the 'green, fresher' smells came through. Almost 5 hours later and i cant stop smelling my wrist, its a beautiful warm smell. Very sensual and smooth, definatly something i could wear everyday. A little goes along way, i only applied it to my wrist but i got hints of it throughout the day. I put some on my husband and he also liked it, so its a very unisex scent. Good job Al Rehab...another hit (i have Soft and Lovely and Choco Musk and love them).

Oh my goodness, I almost dont want to say how wonderful this perfume oil is so I can keep it to myself! Its absolutely beautiful. Its a real heady beautiful oud and rose and I cant get enough of it. Big sillage for an oil. The first time I wore it I could still smell it 24 hours later on my jacket and Id only used a few dabs. I am very much into heavy strong heady exotic scents and I love oud so if you are like me, I think you will love it too. It is truly beautiful and the more I use it, the more I love it. I would definately class it as unisex. I love the rollerball bottles these perfume oils come in as theyre so portable and look great. This was the first perfume oil I ever purchased from Al Rehab, and its still so far my favourite. The great thing about these oils is that you can explore and build up a perfume wardrobe without the sometimes associated guilt form splurging on luxuries. Al Rehab perfumes are indeed luxuries, but with the added bonus of being very affordable.
