Works fine
Recently upgraded my PC case. The new case has USB-C socket on the outside but my mother board doesn't have a usb-c header. Ordered this adapter, put it on the old USB header and was able to connect the external USB-C socket to it. It's not great for charging to be honest but does mean I can use the port and transfer data

Bought this to power a USBC front conntector from my motherboard. Works great, and my phone fast charges with it. Exactly what I was after.

Works for charging but not data transfer
A much cheaper alternative to buying a new motherboard, the fit is a little loose but it stays put. Works well for charging but does not allow data transfer.

A little bulky but does the job!
Make sure you push the connection right in until it's solid. I thought it was loose at first but it's best to connect to the usb c cable first then your usb 2.0 header.

Great item
Great item and works perfectly.

Works as described, it's a bit bulky though.
It does exactly what It says and now I can use the front panel USB C port on my case without sacraficing my USB A port which is great. It was also packaged nicely and priced reasonably well. My only concern is that with the cable attached it's a huge adapter and I'm a bit weary having such a heavy strain on the connector. It would be better if the adapter was flexible, more like a cable extension. Otherwise I'm happy enough.
