Durimi SH98/70 Replacement Heads for Philips Norelco Shavers Series S9xxx -Upgraded Double-Layer Blade Compatible with Shaver 9000

This is a generic brand version for replacement blade heads for the series 9000 Philips Norelco electric shavers. The series 9000 is my best electric shaver, giving me an excellent, smooth shave. I actually use I once a week, and reserve it for special occasions where I have to look my best (and trust me, I can use all the help I can get, haha).I do have 2 sets of brand name replacement heads, for future replacement. But, this is an economical alternative to the brand name version. It fits and looks like the name brand. At this early stage, I cannot attest to the durability of the blades, but it seems it should last as long as the more expensive replacements.I installed it in the shaver, with no problems. It seems to function without issue. Accordingly, it receives a 4.5+ star rating.

This is not worth it. Don't buy if you want to save the skin on your face.

It works but the shave is not nearly as close as the original plus its considerably louder. I could deal with the noise if the shave was close but it's been 2 weeks and still doesn't shave close. Guess that's what I get for trying to save money!

I have 4 Norelco razors: 3 5000 series and 1 9000 series. This replacement head was a significantly closer and cleaner cut over the old blades that I had in my 9000 razor AND runs quieter. I don't remember when I last changed the head but this replacement head cuts like the original did when I bought the razor. Don't know how long it will last, but it sure is a sweet cutting head out of the plastic casing.Whether or not the new double layer technique will be worth the extra price in the long run will be a subject of a additional, revised review after I have used the head for a month.Right now, I am very pleased with the shave of these new heads!

To start things off please remember that this only comes with the shaver unit and not the whole head so keep that in mind. Basically you are replacing the blades.I got this for my SH70 series and it does fit and will actually shave, however, the shaver is a bit noisy. I tried it on a original head unit, but they both have a noisy shave to it. It sounds like it doesn't have the perfect fit and makes almost like a grinding noise. The OEM SH70 replacement you can find that I also tried has a much better fit and sound. If you are looking for a SH70 replacement head, I would stick with the original manufacturer's head.

This shaver worked out perfectly with my Philips Norelco 9850 shaver. Which turned out to be a total surprise, as the design of these heads was meant for the tier up product, the more expensive kind Norelco makes. I'm glad it worked straight out of the box.Evidently it doesn't shave quite as closely or smoothly as the OEM heads, but the differences are very minor, hard to perceive honestly.But if you consider you're basically saving more than 50% over OEM heads, it's a no brainer.If you're trying to save some money on your replacement heads, I'd recommend you to give these a shot.

Better than expected. Cuts great and works on my Norelco 9500 shaver. I haven't used my shaver the past few months because the OEM blades gave out after a year and some months. These blades brought my shaver back to life and cut real well. Theyre great for a quick shave in the morning. Of course they don't cut quite as close as a good straight blade shaver, but wasn't expecting that as I never had as good of results even when the shaver was brand new.Overall, I would recommend these blades to someone who wants to restore their Norelco shaver without paying huge markup on OEM blades.

I got the blades swapped out in a couple minutes, and used my original blade holder. Like I said, first shave went pretty well without any noticeable issues. But the next shave it was plucking hairs left and right, and I had red lesion looking marks all over my face. I even ran it through a cleaning cycle with the genuine cleaning fluid, and waited a day until I used it again.I had some photos of the marks all over my face and neck but I can't find them. I'll add them later if I do find them. Sharing some other product photos that I took though, comparing the blades to genuine ones.Forced myself to use it for several more days, checking adjustments and changing retainer clips, etc. Nothing I did alleviated the constant plucking no matter how slow or what direction I shaved. I put my old genuine blades back on, and I'm happy as a lark. Gonna stick with genuine blades myself! Good luck on your quest.If this was helpful, please let me know below!
