Fantastic, but..
God knows what the series will be like. Lego's quality on the other hand is persistent, and really only ever gets better. The Ghost is a really interesting ship, it's almost diamond like in shape. There's no shortage of features, and it comfortably seats all the included minifigures. However, Sabine - the Mandolorian is nowhere to be found. I can only assume this means there will be future Star Wars Rebels sets, it seems quite odd that they'd exclude her in the initial releases, though. As for the minifigures, they're all great. The stormtrooper finally has leg printing, but it uses a new helmet mold. Not entirely sure how I feel about this, on the one hand it looks great. Better than previous iterations. On the other, OT stormtroopers now like cartoonish in comparison. Hera is great, everybody wants more Twi'leks. Kanan's hairpiece is unique, not sure if it's been used in different lego themes. Finally, there's Zeb the purple alien. The plastic used for the head feels a lot more tougher than any alien heads of old, though it's still slightly rubbery. I urge caution when handling the Ghost though, Lego seem to be using spring based projectiles now. They're not bullets by any means, but due to the rather awkward shape of the Ghost, it's very easy to accidentally trigger them. They ought to have included some safety goggles with this set! It's also worth nothing that the Ghost and Phantom are one and the same. Both sets connect. Rather cleverly, the images Lego released never showed the rear of the ship in great detail. That's because there's a gaping hole in the fuselage in which to sit the Phantom. It's well detailed, and honestly it's what you would expect with a docking mechanism as such. Not sure why they're shy about showing it... [Edit] And there's also quite a few stickers that need to be placed on cylindrical pieces. They're by far the most painful, and the other stickers aren't too much of an issue. But I thought I should mention it, I'm always slightly annoyed when TLG include sticker sheets instead of printing directly onto the pieces, it's just cheap. They tend to fade and peel over a few years, and that's not even including the wear from casually touching them. Having said that, the stickers used on the upper exterior are printed on fairly durable and transparent strips of plastic, so there's that.

I have not used lego since I was like 7 years old
I'm an adult, yes I am an adult who bought some lego. I have not used lego since I was like 7 years old, as a child I don't think I used to have sets where you followed instructions, we just built things from random pieces. Fast forward many years after much deliberation over the extortionate seeming price of modern lego I decide to buy a set. I absolutely love this model. It was easy to build (for an adult) but almost therapeutic! I sat on the floor and watched TV whilst building this and it was a relaxing enjoyable experience there is no frustration or "Grrrr!! this piece didn't fit!" or "Grrr this piece is missing!" it was just fun! and at the end of it, you end up with an amazingly accurate lego portrayal of an iconic star wars ATAT which looks damn awesome! I was a highly sceptical person who did not like lego's price, but after actually buying this set I think it is alright value given the quality of the pieces and instruction and everything, everything fits everything is there and you get spare pieces. I will buy more lego because it is rare you buy a toy which captures something as iconic in your childhood as this, a fine job by lego.

Completes the Ghost
Lovely small Star Wars vehicle, one of the few that will give you both Ezra Bridger (who comes with a helmet) and Chopper mini-figures. Our children are fanatical about the Star Wars Rebel series so this very welcome. What makes this set most interesting is the completed Phantom model can be connected to the super impressive Ghost spaceship , one of our favourite Star Wars Lego ships. The build of the 234-piece set is fairly straightforward and posed little challenge for our experienced young brick builders. The falters include foldable wings, a large hold, a cockpit that can be opened and there is a missile launcher on top. So its great play-value as wel

A wonderful kit which is very movie accurate and includes three great figures(all exclusive to the set). The model is sturdy and will take quite some playing with to be damaged. The only problem I found was that when wanting to display the model in flight mode, I was unable to as the smaller wing collapses because it won't support the body. The set could benefit from a stand or dock but otherwise the set is brilliant

Our six-yr-old boy spent four hours on Christmas day making this with his daddy. It's a stretch project for him - the boy - and he was so proud of himself aterwards. I had reservations initially on price - and it is a v costly gift at €140 - but based on our son's enjoyment of it and that he has played with it every day since Christmas and still loves it, I'm glad in the end that we went for it. Best bits are the trapdoor (activated via a lever on the bum, which adds no end to our son's enjoyment of that feature) and the interior bits front and middle that hold the storm troopers. We also love the fact that the head swings and the legs have joints. For the price, a few more rebel characters would have been great. All in all though, a great buy with no regrets!

Disappointing build
This was fiddly to assemble but it looks good. It has lots of small parts and the wheel comes apart easily so it will not stand being played with. My grandson dropped it onto a laminate floor and not only did it fall to bits but one of the 'ball joint' components broke and I had to send for a spare which took weeks to come from the Netherlands. They only cost 10p each so I bought four but with the cost of postage and the charge my bank levied for currency conversion I could almost have bought a new set. This is now more of a show piece than a tactile toy so it sort of defeats the object of being Lego.
