I own loads of Sistema products and nothing else matches them in terms of quality, durability and, most importantly, the fact that they just do exactly what you want.You can use them for loads of things - I use them for noodles, porridge, scrambled egg, soups etc and they work perfectly and don’t stain like others. Steaming is really easy thanks to the flip lid so steaming without the spatter and they look great.

The 915 ml capacity is perfect for individual meals, and the BPA-free material gives me peace of mind regarding safety. The steam release vent is a fantastic feature that helps prevent messy splatters in the microwave.The bowl's distinctive Sistema KLIP IT easy locking clips make it convenient to use and store. It's dishwasher, microwave, fridge, and freezer safe, which adds to its versatility. The bright red colour is also a nice touch, making it easy to spot in my cupboard.

Over the years we have tried a few different brands of microwave cookware, starting off with the soft plastic pans that stained irretrievable when in contact with tomato; then a series of the clear polycarbonate pans that worked well for a while, before cracking or otherwise becoming unusable. And those hard clear plastic pans have greatly increased in price over the past few years.We gave these Systema bowls a try for a few weeks and are delighted with the product.In particular, several different sizes and shapes are available, and the lids fit them all.The lids can be clipped onto the bowl, making them a container to put in the fridge. And when poaching eggs in the microwave, the lid can contain the occasional explosion if the yolk was not properly punctured first. The lid has a little opening that can be set open or closed (to release steam).Best of all, the price is reasonable. So the Systema brand is the one we will be using in future.
