Great product with nice layout
I bought this to replace our weather station that finally failed after years of use. I really like all the information this product displays and the vertical layout. It's easy to read, and I like the "picture" of the weather as well. There is an automatic mode based on time where the entire display dims, which is nice late at night.

Works as described.
Happy with this product.A little clumsy on setup.I had to pull batteries & reset the unit to get all the display elements to appear correctly.

Won’t hold time.
Won’t hold time.Shoot! Missed the return/exchange window. For some strange reason, device won’t hold correct time. No, we have not lost power. But it will go completely dark. And it also falls behind like right now it’s an hour behind from last night, but the date is still the same.🤷🏻♀️

basic weather station, works good.
This is a basic weather station, bought to observe temps in protected outside garden in Winter. It works fine for that. A couple of gripes: if used in harsh Winter regions, lithium batteries must be used as opposed to alkaline batteries which don't perform well in low temps. Lithiums are way more expensive than alkalines. Also, if using AC adapter, battery compartment cover cannot be put back in place due to right angle plug of adapter which is inserted in same compartment. Sort of an odd design, if you ask me. Pull out stand is cheap and flimsy, doesn't really support display unit that well, making it prone to fall over if nudged slightly. Might be better to hang it on wall or come up with better support of your own. Other than those pet peeves, display is easy to read from a distance, seems to give accurate readings so far, and is easy to set up. We'll see how long it lasts.

5+ years
I came on Amazon to get a replacement for this because the sensor finally quit working. I didn't realize I bought it 5 1/2 years ago! It's worked great the entire time (and we live in New England). We love how easy it is to read from anywhere in the room. I check it every morning before getting dressed and going out the door. It's been super cold here lately so I'm guessing that finally killed the sensor. Time for the next one!Edit: my husband replaced the batteries to the outdoor sensor, unplugged and plugged in the display, and now we're back in business! Hopefully we get another 5 years!

Very big and very dim backlight
When it arrived, the box seal was cut and the box was already opened. The screen was VERY dirty and took me a while to clean. The screen and overall size is massive compared to what I was replacing. It is far larger than I had originally thought it would be. The screen is backlit, but only offers dim, very dim, almost off, and off completely, which can make it a little hard to read in certain room lighting. It did quickly connect for the radio data, which is good, and it has 3 options for the remote sensor, but I don't think you can display data from 3 remote sensors at the same time. Overall, useful if not high quality materials. Worth the $22 I paid, but I now see them listed at $45 or so, which is not worth it. I will keep this one, I needed it, but I would suggest waiting to see if you can find it for the $20 to $25 price point.

Good accuracy, features, and visibility.
I tried a couple of one of the other very popular brands of weather stations but returned them due to the inaccuracy of the indoor temperatures. This AcuRite weather station is more accurate right out of the box but I found out in the instructions that indoor and outdoor temps and humidity plus the barometric pressure are adjustable. I really like that feature as is allows me to adjust to local conditions and compensate for temp and humidity discrepancies. Great features for the price and the auto backlight adjust is nice to have. It's easy to read from across the room. Very happy with the purchase.

The only one that I have seen that allows you to "calibrate" the data.
Accu-rite makes good stuff. The last weather station was Accu-rite, and was still working when I replaced it.Pros..Adjustable, but only by full degrees. !/10 degree would have been better. The only problem is finding a local weather source to set it to. I have used several sources over the years, and none of them ever match. Being able to adjust it to match a known source is helpful, but what if the source is not accurate? Temp, humidity, can be adjusted, as can baro. The barometer seems to be right on the money. My reference is an Oakton aneroid baro with temp correction and they are always a perfect match.Cons..No seconds display. I have all kinds of radio controlled clocks, so if I need to know the exact time, I can use them. The weather predictor thing is laughable. In the middle of a long drought, it showed rain every day for a month. They say it "learns". How does it learn when it doesn't know if its raining or not?The display is color, and looks cool. It has an auto dim feature that will turn the brightness down at 6(?) PM, then back up in the morning. As with all multi layer displays, it is not easily viewed at all angles. It has a battery backup so if the power fails, the display will be blank unless you push the button. Time keeping and weather will be saved. In all, its a good purchase, but not perfect.
