Lessiter's Hand Finished Swiss Assorted Chocolate Truffles - Pack Size = 1x77

Bought these by chance after they came up as a recommendation. Haven't heard of Lessiter's before and they seemed to be quite cheap so I wasn't expecting too much. I was wrong - the chocolates were delicious and a big hit with everyone. Apart from the rum truffles (which were OK just not great) all of the chocs were brilliant. The packaging is great so no worries about postage. Would definitely buy again - even with the only so-so rum truffles these are great value and very tasty. I liked them better than the Hotel Chocolat selection box I also bought.

Cannot believe I only ordered these yesterday and, they arrived here in N Ireland today! Surely a record? But, how scrumptious these are. I worked out that, each one cost about 20p each? Now, that's real value for money! Arrived, so well packaged, and everyone was intact. Our dog, whose nose went into hyper drive, even before it was opened. Would recommend these, without question and, if they are still available near Christmas, there will be ordered to give as that extra present. So, they have the whole 'package'. great value, delivery and care taken when they were wrapped to post. All in all, perfection, P.A.W.

The chocolates are very tasty clearly high quality not this rubbish stuff you get from thortons these days. You get a lot of chocolates which makes it look very impressive, gave it to my parents as a present they were over the moon. Only thing i would add is that the packaging is very basic but not really an issue for me as the chocolates make up for that anyway and the product in my personal opinion doesn't need any added cost of fancy packaging. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting some high quality chocolate

Good value for money, most of the chocolates don’t taste particularly great however. They’re not bad tasing, but they’re just a bit bland and average. I didn’t like the coffee or rum truffles at all, but that’s more down to personal preference. I really liked the caramel, orange and hazelnut, they tasted far better than the rest of the truffles and seemed to be of a higher quality. Presentation isn’t great though as it’s just a plain cardboard box. They’d be great for a wedding or function where you’ll take them out of the box. But I probably wouldn’t give them as a gift as they look a bit cheap and naff due to the presentation of the box. The truffles themselves look nice though

I purchased these chocolates for xmas, so when Amazon asked me to write a review about these chocolates, I thought I had better try one now ! well eating one chocolate turned into eating two, then three; I tried all eleven varieties, ( over a few days ) and each one was sooo delicious. And with 77 chocolates in a box, I still have plenty for xmas. Great value, great quality. Thank you, I will order again.

Some of these I loved and others I hated. There was no noticeable warning at the time of purchase that many of them contained alcohol - and I don't think I've come across truffles laced with alcohol before, although I'm familiar with other kinds of chocolates containing some. That's a problem to me as my husband has a medical problem with alcohol and I just find that, to my palate, it ruins the flavour: especially the rum one, which looked delicious but which was worse than taking unsweetened medicine. But, if you prefer the flavour of booze to the flavour of chocolate, this might suit you more than it did me.

many chocolates a greedy treat for myself to perk me up the odd time , a great range of different flavours as with all chocolates some better than others but overall many delicious pure joy , as many say great for Christmas or party I would say a flavour for everyone and though fairly costly for the amount and quality works out quite good value ,you have to enjoy life these can make you feel good even if not feeling so in thoughts

Artificial tastes across the entire choice, chocolate obviously has a large % of palm oil content a it leaves that 'slimy' feeling in the mouth. These are NOT fresh truffles in any way, shape or form. I'd much prefer to order from Hotel Chocolat quality over quantity is the key here. Packaging is a white, cardboard box, which I didn't have a problem with as they weren't a gift, thankfully. Even though quite well wrapped there were still several broken chocs inside the box. Just not worth the price for the quality. BTW I've lived in France, Luxembourg and Belgium, I know what good Euro chocolate tastes like and it's not this.!! Buyer beware.
