It is easy to install between the shower head and the shower pipe. Use it to conserve water, you can shut off the shower, then turn it back on and not have to mess with the temperature, it stays where it was set.It can be used on a hand-held shower head too, if the fitting on the hand held is standard like a regular shower head. I have one on ours, I use it when giving the dogs a bath, so I can keep the temperature set while shutting the water off to lather the shampoo

Really solid little flow valve. I put it in line at the base of my shower wand so it's attached to the shower spigot and hose. It's metal, so hand tighten only with tape. Restricts flow easily with the slide/switch and doesn't leak. Finish is pretty much exactly the same as the Moen Engage Spot Resist Brushed Nickel Magnetix showerhead. I have a Hansgrohe shower arm.Bottom line - great price, inobtrusive look, nice build quality, nice finish, and does what it's supposed to do.

This was a lifesaver. I had a hand held shower, which was on a tile wall. There was a switch to turn the water on and off, which was inside the shower and inside the tile wall. I look for something like this many places, and could not find it. This is perfect. It fits right into the handheld shower and it could be turned on and off and save me a whole job of pulling down a tile wall.

No more struggling over my head to shut off water or switch from fixed shower head to handheld. I installed a Moen Magnetic head (double duty there -- I highly recommend it) and this shut-off between the handle and tubing. PERFECT. Slides easily, especially with arthritic hands.
