Between 1916 and 1963, Norman Rockwell created a sunny, gentle, almost carefree version of America on 323 covers of The Saturday Evening Post. Inside the magazine were many stories he illustrated and many advertisements he drew. The kindly one-town nation he celebrated was internalized by The Posts readers, who saw Rockwells pictures and reacted with the words "Thats us!" Printed with soy-based inks on FSC® certified paper, which means the paper has been certified by the Forest Stewardship CouncilTM and manufactured by an FSC certified printer. FSC certification promotes responsible forest management by ensuring that forestry practices are environmentally responsible, socially equitable, and economically viable.
